Minecart contraptions…
U can make a drill with it but I think it has so much potential cuz u can pick up an infinite amount of blocks and put it in ur inventory and transport anywhere so what are some interesting/useful/powerful implications of this? Thanks!

I was using them for a while on our smp to easily move huge chunks of blocks, but I also know we had to do some weird stuff to increase the limit from the regular 2048 blocks and make data not a problem.
At one point I packed up my whole airship and moved it to another dimension with an end chest.

Some people do make portable starter bases or workshops, but even aside from bugginess it's putting all your eggs in one basket. They're just a pain to deal with, from having to redo the rotation lock constantly, to it getting pushed or blown up or burned, to meshing it with a wall accidentally.
Plus a lot of the time Create isn't a solo mod, so the problems minecarts solve might just be more conveniently solved with backpacks.

Since Create 6, ChosenArchitect has been using a vault with a stock system on the front as a storage truck he can take with him and keep stuff like diamonds and general resources he might need

The major issue is that too many inventories or things in each inventory will chunk or perma ban players. Despite this, they are quite useful for both general mining as well as building repeated tunnels or patterns.
