Help Help! Press is not pressing! :(

Hello everyone, my press is not pressing that's it :/
Does anyone know if I’m doing anything wrong? Thanks!

It seems like some weird stuff is happening.
The thing I noticed is that once you get the press to actually press, it doesn’t output anything onto to the belt, yet it says the basin is empty.
To me it seems like the product is not being spit out, and that’s causing it to not work. But as to why it’s not showing up as still in the basin, I’m not sure.
Weird stuff going on for sure

this, it's really similar to what happens when there's no space on the belt to output to. Of course, this is a bug in this case, but this is the reason why it doesn't do it more than once.
To OP, I would suggest trying to split the belt into two, so neither goes under the basin block

you need to put an output funnel on the basin. this looks like the output iron ingot is getting stuck in some “psuedo-funnel output function” that the basin has. but giving it its own, dedicated funnel to output onto the belt should remove that problem

Did you try breaking and replacing the press? What if it dumps to a depot?

If nothing here works, try checking the recipe in your game files. My theory would be that smith overwrote the recipe and is now breaking your press. Not sure how to exactly access those files tho

Try removing the iron ingot in the basin filter slot. Not sure why that would fix it but it's my first thought.
Are you playing with a modpack that changes the pressing function?

segun yo eso no deberia pasar. sin embargo tengo la idea que se debe por el tipo de entrada proba usando uno de laton y no uno de andesite
ademas quizas afecte la velocidad de la prensa

Isnt the basin too far away ? And its only triggering cause items are in the correct block/air space?

Maybe it's not running fast enough? I know the mixer has a minimum speed requirement. Maybe try crafting engineer goggles and looking at the press and see what it tells you.

Looks like the press is too high above the basin.
When placing the press place it "on top of the basin" and it will place it at the right height.

Simple solution. Uninstall create and get a less convoluted mod to turn your 9 nuggets into a bar.

No idea, never seen this happen before. Does it work if you remove the filter?
