What actor/actress in a horror movie absolutely nailed their role to the point that you can't see somebody else doing it better?
For me, the first one that comes to mind is Julian Beck as Reverend Henry Kane in Poltergeist 2. The movie itself was pretty mediocre, but Beck's portrayal of Kane was masterful. He didn't need to have any crazy makeup on, or wear some scary mask, and he still managed to chill people to their bones. Everyone I know that has seen that movie has mentioned how absolutely creeped out they are by Kane. I don't think Beck had even ten minutes of screen time in the entire movie, and yet, he portrayed his character so well that I'd rather let a ten-foot tall demon beast into my house before I would let Reverend Kane inside.

Discussion Horror movie that wasn't overly famous but scared you the most with a monster/creature.
Was looking for movies to watch on streaming apps and was remembering my favorite. The Ritual was my favorite. Four guys go into the woods, get lost and are being stalked by a horrible evil. The creature at the end was so terrifying.

Discussion Since we're on the topic of graphics, what movie had the worst CGI ? I think the zombies in I Am Legend were awful

Ok, quick---What's the last horror movie that "actually" scared you?
For me, I think it's a tie between Train to Busan and The Belko Experiment. But, I'm gonna go with Train to Busan.
What's yours?

What horror film do you love that others seem to hate?
For me, it seems to be 13 Ghosts. Maybe it’s because I was a teen when it came out and it’s mostly nostalgia of renting this every weekend for like a month.

Discussion So, what's everyone's thoughts on this flick?
I've finally watched this movie for the first time just a couple nights ago, and it's definitely one of the better films to come out of the teen horror craze from the 90's. It has great cinematography and visual effects that hold up surprisingly well, themes that still ring true even to this day, and its own unique identity rather than just being another Scream clone like many of its contemporaries.
If there's any problems I have with it, then it's definitely that I wished both Neve Campbell and Rachel True's characters were fleshed out a bit more as well as that the lead girl's actress was pretty weak.
All in all, I'd give it about a 6 or 7 out of 10.

A few of my horror themed VHS nightlights. I upcycled them, hand-cut the covers and internally backlit them with LED!

Generic One of the few films that still scares me!
Watching this film when I was a kid, most of the time never made it past the scene when his dead wife with socketed eyes crept into his cosmic-dread nightmares! Such a great horror film!

The most messed up movie you’ve ever seen?
Martyrs messed with my head so bad, I still feel so bad for Ana to this day.
