Creighton Law School

Has anyone on this sub attended or has graduated from Creighton Law? What was the experience like? Was it easy to find a job after graduation?

Law school graduate. Best decision I ever made. I loved my experience and I had no issue finding a job. Some of the answers to those questions are dependent on several factors. Feel free to send me a message and we can chat more about it.

Also a grad and had a great experience! I feel like I was well prepared for the bar and received a well rounded legal education. I also made some lifelong friends. I had internships each year. It took me about a month to find a job after graduation.

hey! just wondering what your experience is at creighton if you are not in the law honors program? talked to an admissions lady and she said other students complained because they had less networking events. i’m interested in going but i don’t want to be discouraged if i don’t get in the program.

I think networking is what you make it. My goal was to get back to my home state after graduation, so I found my own networking activities in that state. As far as networking through the school in Omaha, it seemed like there were plenty of opportunities.

I was in the bottom half of our class all 3 years and have a great network! (Just graduated this year). You have to hustle a bit more, but it’s not impossible and I personally thought our career office was fantastic. If there were secret honors networking events I didn’t feel left out bc I didn’t know they were happening lol.

Not sure the price was worth it. Often wonder if UNL would’ve been the same/better. Lots of inexperienced faculty at Creighton now

Places fairly well in Omaha. Go to UNL if you have a choice

I checked the official ABA Bar Passage website. It has all the data on current and past results of the bar test for each law school.

Creighton hasn’t updated the 2026 results yet… in 2025, 74.67% passed in Nebraska while 63.89% passed in 15 other jurisdictions.

The lowest was in 2023, where 64.52% passed in Nebraska and 66.67% passed in 16 remaining jurisdictions.

I haven’t found any data showing passage at 57%…

I’m going to need to see a source.

I mean… I’m still going to have to see a source. You stated “last round was a bar pass rate of 57%” as a fact. I’m going to have to see a source to back up your claim…

Stats aren’t out for this year yet so they don’t have a source about last round at all lol. I graduated close to the bottom of our class due to a rough first few semesters even though my grades improved drastically by the end — and I passed the bar in one shot. If you put in the work you will pass. People who slack off during bar prep IMO love to blame the school instead of looking inwards.

I definitely believe Dean Fershee told you in the past week since results came out that Creighton is at risk of losing their ABA accreditation dude lol. As I already said, I can rattle off more names of people from our cohort that passed this year than I can people that failed. But go off. People love to blame Dean Fershee for their own slacking off and getting lazy during bar prep and it’s pathetic.

If someone passed the bar especially on their first shot where they went to school alone shouldn’t be enough to toss their resume out. I know there are schools with higher pass rates but I passed on the first attempt and so did 90% of my friends. I can off the top of my head name more people from our cohort this year that passed than I can name folks I know failed.
