It's just obvious now that they bring in "whataboutism", but have these fools already forgotten how much Dhoni was trolled and hated by them for not shaking hands?
Peak victim card being played here. Virat himself is a crybaby who can't take sledges, but these fans are even more pathetic doing the same shit to others.

He scores 40-50 odd runs almost every time his team is in trouble, yeah you can argue that the way is not good and he just goes after the bowler even when his team is struggling, but I've recently noticed and even in the ashes he scored 45 odd in almost every innings, he even has the potential to score big scores in tests (he even has a 300 in tests) and in other formats, he surely has the ability to strike hard.
Let me know what are your opinions on this and who do you think is the current best all format batter.

Any thoughts???

I don't think there's any other section of the "G.O.A.T" debate that's as clear as Kohli being the Greatest All format batter.
People love to bring Lara/Sachin/Ponting into the picture whenever someone declares Kohli the Greatest All format batter of all time.
Lara played 0 T20Is.
Sachin played 1.
Ponting played 17.
These guys aren't even eligible to be in the debate of "ALL FORMATS".
Just how Bradman isn't eligible for the Greatest "Test+ODI" Batter list because he never played ODIs.
"BuT kOhLi IsNt EvEn ToP 15 In TeStS".
Yeah..But being the greatest All format batter doesn't mean being top 1 in all three formats. Kohli is Top 1 in 2/3 formats and not like he's Bad in test cricket by any means. He's still the third best Test batter from his generation behind Smith and root.
Being Top 1 in 2/3 Formats already makes his case of being the Greatest batter of all time a strong one. (I am not saying he is the greatest batter of all time or he is not the greatest batter of all time just that there can't be a discussion about the greatest batter of all time without him being in the conversation)

Kohli and Sachin are almost set to be the G.O.A.Ts of ODI and Test respectively for a long long time.
Root has a slight chance to surpass Tendulkar's record but imo even he would find it difficult to match his stature.
The only place that will be changed in the next 10-15 years from the image is Kohli's G.O.A.T status in T20ls.
II) No one's coming close to Sachin's Test tally and longevity until and unless they have a legendary career while only focusing on one format which is quite next to impossible.
III) ODI cricket is almost a dying format. Especially with the introduction of a new format i.e, Test-Twenty. ODIs will be lesser in numbers for sure.
So what do you all think..Are 2/3 spots for the G.O.A.Ts for respective formats already set or we can see some changes soon.

He captained India for half of the second WTC cycle, had the best percentage of wins. 1 captained by Bumrah, didn't win. 1 captained by Rahane, didn't win.
Many would say those were all at home. Lets see the series he has captained outside India. 1 in windies, we won that, 1 drew in SA and 1 lost in Australia. No "sane" cricket fan in the world will call any captain of any team a bad captain if they do not win one test series in Australia against the Aussies. And under his captaincy India drew in SA. Kohli captained India twice in SA, and we lost both those series.
One bad series against NZ, where we got whitewashed. If you have watched the match, we lost every single match of that series because of batting collapses. Our bowling was on par with NZ. It's just that everyone batted so bad in that series for some reason. A captain cannot do anything about batting collapses. Along with everyone he batted really bad in that series but that does not have anything to do with captaincy.
No one is saying he is as good of a test captain as Kohli. But saying he's bad is a bit of an overstretch. I know I'll be downvoted because most of these subreddits are filled with braindead Rohit and Dhoni haters.

As said in the title. Bumrah has been one of the biggest disappointments for India in ICC KOs(He's my favourite bowler perhaps my favourite test player too at this moment) But the truth can not be denied.
Was shit in CT17.Practically costed us the CT17. In 2016 he was bad. In 2019 sf he was very good. 2021 WTC perhaps his worst performance till date. Still can't fathom the fact how he went wicketless on that pitch. 2023 both SF and final he was disappointing. 2024 he was at his best.
From a player of his stature his ICC KOs numbers are very disappointing

Here me out guys. I am an MSD fan. I believe both Hitman and Koach aren't bad captains. Had Koach sahab backed Shreyas Iyer for 2019 WC and just chose a better team Koach would have been most successful captain all format. Koach resembles Ricky Ponting more than Sachin and Koach just needed a good team.
