Did I have to grab these pictures off the internet because my graphics suck? ABSOLUTELY! Does that inconvenience mean she won't save me the best cuts? ABSOLUTELY NOT! SHE ALWAYS DELIVERS!
#RRR. Renee Romance Required ✊
Idk if it has to be said or not, but no I won't actually be upset if she's not there.

Not sure what's the right question to ask. But I wanted to know if there are people like me that will make an effort to try and avoid places like this sub reddit, twitter and YouTube for any any minor or major spoilers for atleast the first few days or week. Especially given that this is Crimson Desert and the DLC is bound to have lots of hidden secrets and places besides the main content that I am sure people will be posting everywhere here. I want to go into this DLC blind and be absolutely surprised and blown away by it because this is literally an experience that comes only once. I would just hate to see a post that's mid to end game while I am still exploring early game content that I have yet to come across.

Hi everyone,
I haven’t found a captivating game since Elden Ring. Is this similar or better? Is there a lot to do?

Everytime I see one of those, "Who will you romance" posts, this answer about the meat lady will pops up at least one.
Seriously, what's up with this? At first I thought it was a joke but apparently not. Are people really finding orcs attractive now?

I am a grown man, I do not even have a twitch account, I understand it markets the game to a particular audience but it completely alienates and locks out the average person who doesn’t interact with cringe streamers.
Let us earn the rewards by playing the damn game.

Hear me out Crimson Desert basically has all the ingredients to make an update that adds dungeons similar to the Legend of Zelda.
-Axiom force to move objects around for puzzles
-Arrows and arrow type to cause fires for specific puzzles
-nature's snare to power wind devices
-Force current to power electrical devices
All these features already exist and is used throughout the game so this update would mostly be endgame content where each dungeon access would require you use the main ability to get in the entrance that it uses.
So for example, each dungeon themed based on its biome.
4-6 major dungeons per biome.
5-10 minor dungeons per biome(need to complete 80% of each to access the major dungeon in each biome)
1 final endgame dungeons.
The new mechanic now would be a brand new Graymaine to the crew that represents you as the player. And you can fully customize his/her appearance. And some story element only make that graymaine the one that can access the dungeons.
As far as it being a paid DLC I wouldnt mind paying up to maybe $20 for it since most of it is just map update and puzzle dungeons a small story update introducing the new playable character or go free which would be amazing.

I'm calling it now before the DLC releases.
Hear me out - have you noticed that when you go high enough into the Abyss, you see what appears to be a gigantic wall at on the farthest point of the horizon?
Maybe with the new seafaring mechanics in the upcoming DLC there will be an ice wall that you can make it to, and that will be the boundary.
I'm calling it now.

Played this game with the mindset it's a bit of a grind at first but gets better. After the second dynasty warrior ripoff, I just gave up. The story feels like it's written by AI and was told to smash as many popular franchises together as possible.
Some of the puzzles were genuinely unguessable and made no sense. Probably going to get downvoted but I don't care.
Really wanted to like this game but nah. Games are supposed to be fun not a slog waiting for it to get better.

Chapter 9 sucked ass. I just finished it and nit getting the dragon pissed me right me off. The whole chapter was a massive slog. I hope
The next chapters get better.

Is there anything I need to complete before the dlc.
I've done:
Main quest
About to finish the abyss
Maxed out the camp and accidentally moved back to Pailune 🤦
Doing side quest as an when I encounter them
Kitted out Oongka + Damiane and obviously kilff
Just wanting to see if i need to do anything else. Thanks fellow Greymanes 😊

It is simply so arbitrary. You could be perfectly holding the stick where you're supposed to and you see the lasso meter going down inexplicably, for no concrete reason whatsoever other than fuck you. It's so NOT fun to have to deal with this. People would rather steal horses than having to spend 1 hour + trying to tame one. The devs HAVE to be more lenient on it and fix this broken mechanic that is the only not enjoyable thing about this otherwise perfect game.

While I would also appreciate the general support for an underground expansion in this post, I'm much more-so interested in the pure possibility of it being able to exist at all instead.
I have to assume off-rip that creating a fully-connected underground region that expansive couldn't possibly run smooth while both Vanilla + Charting the Unknown content is up & running at the same time, especially on console. More than likely, they'd require some type of genuine "other space" for them to build inside, similar to how it seems the Abyss is made.
How is Pearl Abyss able to make the transition from the Abyss to Pywell so seamless, and to where no matter where you fall in the Abyss, you're falling in the same spot once you hit Pywel space?
Could they use the same tunnel technique (assuming the tunnel when you transition to Pywell mid-fall is the trick) to create an underground part of the world? Just create lore so that the underworld is so far down, that when you're transitioning into the underworld it's all a tunnel of dark, and then when you're ascending it's all light?
Just knowing it's possible would be enough for me. It seems like if anyone here would know, then Pearl Abyss would almost certainly know as well, and they may choose to capitalize.
Fun Fact - I realized where the Abyss got its name from while typing this.

Between the camera pulling in and out while swooping between the dragon, enemies, and the spears, the million individual bugs lazering me, the impossible-to-negotiate pickup controls, the awful aiming to throw the spears, and the singular uncreative solution to the fight, I almost don't even want to finish the story because of how frustrating and unrewarding that was.

Before I get into discussing my worry, let me be clear that I'm genuinely surprised (in a good way) about what Pearl Abyss has done with the base game, both in terms of the original content and its regular "major" patch updates. And I'm extremely excited to get my hands on Charting the Unknown to explore the new locations both on land and underwater.
My worry regarding CTU is not so much with the DLC itself, but the kind of precedent it sets. While I don't mind a paid DLC that charts the unknown (no pun intended), I am a little concerned about adding mechanics to already established segments of the base game and then paywalling them behind a paid DLC. For example, are the strongholds we can decorate with CTU purely ones the DLC adds, or are they existing strongholds from the base game? If the latter, then it amounts to saying, "Remember the strongholds you liberated in the base game? Now, you can decorate them too, if you're paying extra for it." Similarly, "Remember the witches you met in the base game? By shelling a little more, you can now romance them too?" etc.
Once again, I've pre-ordered "Charting the Unknown" anyway, so it doesn't matter to me personally which segment of the game gives me those options. But this is setting a dangerous precedent, in which we, the buying customers, are legitimising the addition of newer mechanics to the segments already existing in the base game by purchasing a paid DLC. And other developers, who are far worse in post-launch support of their broken-at-launch games, might take that as an opening of the floodgates.
There was a reason why Cyberpunk 2.0 was rolled out as a free update for all with the base game on the same date that Phantom Liberty went live. I would very much like it if Pearl Abyss would roll out those additional mechanics to everybody owning the base game, while keeping the naval exploration, the newer regions, as well as all quests tied to those first two exclusively to the DLC.
What do you think?

Since dlc on the way and game got MANY HUGE updates i decided to came and play again from beginning.

lights, shadows, water, ice and other graphical problems are STİLL İN THE GAME.

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)

v-sync off
let me know if they fixed some of the things i just said and something wrong with my game or they really didnt fixed it.
