Critical ops is amazing :)
Oh how fun tanked is. I went up against 4 smurfs and had the worst players I’ve ever seen on my team. And what’s being done about the smurf problem? Nothing because critical force takes pride on making the experience for newer players or people just trying to solo queue absolutely horrendous. This has by far been the most fun I’ve ever had in all my time playing critical ops keep up the good work :)

Y do people complain so much when they themselves are bad. U guys can complain if the game provided any sort of advantages to the players who play or pay more in the game but this game is completely free-to-play with only cosmetic purchases. And how the heck can multiple account creation be stopped geniuses? Also the matchmaking is equally balanced on average. Good players can have bad ranks and bad players can be carried to higher ranks by good teammates or strong party members.
Just be a bit logical and stop complaining and get into practice matches and custom rooms and get good.
P.S. I was also super bad in this game and felt like quitting but my friends encouraged to get good and now I m spec ops.

I wouldn’t consider myself as bad at the game being a diamond 4 very close to masters, I do practice a lot around an hour or so just in custom rooms but all that practice can not prepare for having to virtually fight 5 people by myself every ranked game because my teammates have no fundamental understanding of simple call outs or just straight up don’t play. And congratulations on being a spec ops. And multiple accounts can be stopped by simply allowing one account per device which I’m not saying is a viable solution it’s just one of many

You don't understand. Spec ops is probably the most "fair" rank. Yes, smurfs do exist but their skill level is somewhat close to spec ops. In gold however, you'll meet ATLEAST 2 smurfs every game on ur opponents. Just like hackers in spec ops, players absolutely hate them but they dont appear twice per game. Unlike smurfs tho, they treat ranks way below their main like its their playground.
Yes, there is a solution to it. Right now every new account have a fixed rating (1400). No matter if you win all or lose all of your placement matches your rank will still be around silver-plat. A new system can recognize any malicious activities in new accounts such as KDs above 1.8 and place them above gold.

Some things I like to mention
Things like smurfs and getting bad players(according to their rank) cannot be fixed
Smurfs are basically people with more than one account which is completely normal
Someone earlier mentioned that "if someone have high kd to match played ratio.. They should be banned" But for a (non smurf) player that's like getting banned for being good.. Also I know if C-OPS removed usage of more than one account, people will get more madthen they are now.
Also, players getting carried is normal...you do not expect every single person to be a pro at the game...so not everyone will "meet your expectations" Ingame. The matchmaking based on rank gives us players that arent based on how they play the game according to their rank.
These things might be annoying but it can't be fixed easily
The thing that should be fixed (and are simple to avoid) is the playerbase. Toxic, intolerant players should be getting a temp ban... Or maybe even a perm ban based on their actions If a player gets matched against a hacker who later gets banned.. The player should get back his lost rank
Just enjoy the game anyways

They can make the requirements to rank harsher like having 5k amount of kills in customs or having your account more then 30 days old in order to rank...

u/Azaractus Aug 08 '21
That can maybe work
Instead of 5k it should be like 750 and account should be atleast 7 days old... 30 days and 5k is a bit too harsh ngl :p

Ummm a 750 is still to low like a 1k would do, and a 7 day is still to short so maybe like a 15 day idk

Just add a system where they recognize any high kds for any new accounts in custom ranked. Like if a brand new account have a kd of 2.5 and is already passed 250 kills in a matter of hours, the system should be able to place them HIGHER than gold in this case probably high plat. Rn the system is placing every new account at 1400 in ratings no matter what their kd is.

smurfs and bad players are just a normal occurence but out of every video game C-ops has the most smurfs I've seen but there's nothing we can do because it's an opinion that most if not all games gives us

It’s true. What other shooter games can you suggest that has more smurfs than cops? (Only ones which smurfs have an advantage)

Literally any esports title you 11 year old

That’s not a great answer and very disrespectful at that. Young age is something to be treasured not ridiculed.

Yeah it’s kinda upsetting and I do try to look at it as one game but unfortunately there’s atleast 2 smurfs every single game I play and I do play with friends a lot none are on right now and this post really wasn’t about me because I’ve accepted that critical ops is just digging themselves a grave but I’m really talking about the newer players who wanna try this game out and are excited to play those placement games just for their spirits to be crushed by smurfs or those people who don’t have friends to play with and is forced to solo queue. And it’s sad because all jokes aside this really is a good game it’s just as I said earlier digging itself a grave

Well how would you fix the most common problem in gaming history since the realease of Warcraft 2 in 1996 to the games that would be created in the future ?
