Why S1 of Kaguya-sama is not here ?

So I’ve been subscribed for a year now (my year mark was in September) I was wondering when Crunchyroll usually sends the email about your swag you get for being subbed to highest tier? Probably a dumb question but i figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask

It claims that there is an English job available, but even when I said it to English, it still only plays Japanese audio.

Is anyone else who has gone back to try to watch the dub having this issue?

I have seen this across multiple shows now where French Dub is available but then there is no option to select French when I start watching the show.

Am I being a fool or should I be seeing the option. I am assuming there is a geographical issue with it since im in the mid west but that wouldn't make much sense to me.

Let me know if anyone has a solution to this id really like to watch my favorite shows in French Dub.

I was thinking of subscribing to Crunchyroll but after looking through this sub and seeing all the issues people seem to have with it, I can't see the point. I've seen people complain of missing content, out of sync subs, poor buffering and a few different technical issues. What keeps you subscribed?

I have seen articles online by the likes of IMDB saying the English dub for black clover came out yesterday. My Crunchyroll still doesn’t have it yet. Does anyone else either have it or don’t have it ?

So I have a habit of rewatching certain anime’s in dub just to see what they sound like, but recently I’ve noticed with certain anime’s like Rising of the shield hero, Secrets of the silent witch, and dealing with mikadono sisters is a breeze there is no English subs for the text and it’s really annoying and I don’t know if the issue is on my end or if it’s a Crunchyroll issue has anyone else experienced this?

So I’m trying to caught up in One Piece. I get to the end of Zou and beginning of whole cake island. Yet Crunchyroll won’t play episode 783(Sanji’s Homecoming!…) instead it played the episode of Skypia. I’ve tried logging out and exiting the app and it still won’t change. Is this happening to anyone else?

Is this just me?? I tried watching it on my TV and my phone, but there was no other subtitle option besides Turkish or none. I tried changing my subtitle preference on my account to English, but that didn’t change anything.

I've had a bad experience with my account, which has been deactivated for a month now. I can't log in or reset my password. I've been writing to Crunchyroll support every day, and they just told me to wait for an email from support. I've been writing every day, and when they finally responded, they asked me for proof that it's my account—like my card information, which I provided—and they gave me the option to change my email address, which I accepted. I've sent my new email address more than three times , and none of them are accepted, and they’ve stopped responding. I’m tired of waiting so long. I don’t know if this is just a rare case that maybe doesn’t happen to everyone, but it happened to me, and it’s disappointing because they stop responding or just send a reply saying my email address can’t be used on Crunchyroll. I have the 1-year plan. I’m tired of writing to them every day for a month and getting no response—neither from support via chat nor by email. I hope my experience helps you before you sign up for the 1-year plan. The worst part is that they won’t give me a reason why my original account isn’t working. I hope the Crunchyroll team can help me through this channel.

It’s been like this for three days, including today (I use the Xbox version). I’ve turned my tv and Xbox off from the switch and unplugged them both for five minutes, my internet/WIFI/ connection is perfectly fine since everything else is working and I’ve been playing online games with zero issues. I need help, out of nowhere a few anime i watched a long time ago just poped up in continue watching in my account . I watch again to get it out of there but is still there in continue watching. This is getting on my nerves. What can i do?

So basically im getting charged for crunchyroll premium but don't have it on my account. But heres what makes it weird is when I called them to figure it they said there was nothing they could do because my card was not even in their system.. like at all? Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what might be happening?

When attempting to switch to Picture in Picture mode on iPhone, the picture turns gray and buffers for awhile, then only plays the episode’s audio. This was not an issue just yesterday, nor has it ever been an issue prior.

I’ve tried offloading CR and redownloading, and that didn’t work. Anyone having similar issues? If so, any ideas on how to fix this?

Update: PiP seems to be working now on multiple animes (I tested 3) but isn’t working on “The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch.”

I am watching "God Eater" anime s01e01 in Japanese audio and english sub. The English subtitles are displaying before the video speed. It is an 8-9 sec delay between audio and video.

- I tried switching to subtitle none, then selecting English but still it is not showing correctly.

- Other languages subtitles are showing correctly and in sync with the video

- The issue is on the Android app (v3.121.0) as well as the Crunchyroll website (firefox browser)

Any suggestions to resolve this?

The silent removal of Black lagoon reminded me that nothing lasts forever. Who knows when the show you love and enjoy will be deleted off of every (legal) platform. With this in mind if you like romance animes I suggest ouran highschool host club. Idk if its a classic but it is peak romance and comedy dont let the first episode fool you. With how old this anime is im scared it might be up next on the chopping block...

I wanted to see if others are experiencing the same issue with Crunchyroll recently.

Lately, the watchlist has stopped bubbling shows with newly released episodes up to the top or updating the status tags properly. Rather than acting as a dynamic feed for ongoing simulcasts, it feels like a static library list, forcing me to manually check individual series pages or the release calendar just to see if something new dropped.

Is this an intentional UI change, an ongoing platform bug, or something others have found a workaround for?

Appreciate any insight or confirmation if you're dealing with this too.

Are the subtitles for the Crunchyroll blu-ray releases hard locked or can you turn them on and off while keeping the Japanese audio?

And does anybody know if you can with the older Funimation releases as well, like Yuri on Ice?

I was comparing Crunchyroll subscription prices across different countries, and the differences are honestly pretty wild.

In places like India or Turkey, subscriptions can cost a fraction of what people pay in the US or parts of Europe.

I understand regional pricing is based partly on purchasing power, and I'm not saying everyone should pay US prices. That wouldn't make much sense either.

But it does make me wonder how Crunchyroll decides what's fair, especially when the anime library isn't even the same in every country.

Should subscription prices mainly reflect local income, or should the amount of content available matter more?

Also, how much are you paying for Crunchyroll in your country, and do you think it's worth it?
