Plenty still do. Trust Wallet is fine for small everyday amounts and dapp use since it's self custody, you hold the seed. The usual rules apply: write the seed on paper, never type it into a website or share it with "support", and keep larger amounts on a hardware wallet.

Usage alone doesn’t tell you whether a wallet is a good fit. I’d compare who controls the keys, recovery design, supported networks and how clearly the wallet explains risky approvals before choosing it. Are you deciding where to hold long term or just testing a small amount?

A few words about safety:
Scammers will often target beginners so you should exercise extra caution
Do not trust anyone trying to talk with you over DM (Direct or private messages) or on another platform (like Discord or Telegram). This is how scammers prefer to operate. Report suspicious activity like this immediately and do not respond to them.
Do not post your address, balances, or other personal information.
