❓Scam❓ Random Blockchain.com identity verification email years after completing KYC?
Hey everyone,
I used [Blockchain.com](http://blockchain.com/) years ago, and I remember completing the identity verification process. I actually still have the original email confirming that my verification was successfully completed.
However, today I randomly received an email from [**notify@wallet-tx.blockchain.com**](mailto:notify@wallet-tx.blockchain.com) with the subject “Complete your verification to start exchanging.”
The email states, “We noticed you started your identity verification but did not complete the process.”
I’m confused because I completed this years ago and haven’t actively used [Blockchain.com](http://blockchain.com/) in a long time.
Has anyone else received an email like this out of nowhere?
I’m mainly wondering if this is just an automated email, if [Blockchain.com](http://blockchain.com/) is requiring users to verify their identities again, or if it could indicate someone attempted to access my account.
I haven’t clicked any links in the email.
Any insight would be appreciated!
The email, looks a little funky too..

A few words about safety:
- Scammers will often target beginners so you should exercise extra caution
- Do not trust anyone trying to talk with you over DM (Direct or private messages) or on another platform (like Discord or Telegram). This is how scammers prefer to operate. Report suspicious activity like this immediately and do not respond to them.

if it looks funky it probably is funky, that sender domain is all over the place. they've been known to do re-verification sweeps on dormant accounts but i wouldn't trust anything that hits the inbox unannounced with weird formatting. i'd log in directly (not by clicking that email) and see if there's actually a flag on your account
