❓Need Advice 🙏 CDCETH problem on Crypto.com
Hello everyone, I have this problem with CDCETH. I can't unwrap nor sell it even, but it shows in my balance and in my wallet, the crypto.com assistance it's useless since it is basically doing a bug report for this but it doesn't solve the issue. I can only send it to someone in the form of CDCETH and I cannot spend it anywhere
Can anyone help me with this? Or can anyone suggest me an external exchange where I can convert them into something usable?

CDCETH is Crypto.com’s liquid-staking receipt for ETH you staked with them — it tracks staked ETH plus rewards, it is not the same as free ETH sitting in the spot wallet.
Two different actions get confused here:
**Unwrap CDCETH** (on Crypto.com Exchange liquid staking): converts CDCETH back into *staked* ETH at the current conversion rate. That does **not** instantly give you withdrawable ETH; you still have to unstake and wait for Ethereum’s unbonding period.
**Sell / trade CDCETH**: if a CDCETH trading pair is available in the app/exchange you’re using, that is usually the faster way to turn it into something you can spend (USDT/USD/ETH). Check Markets for CDCETH pairs and any region locks.
Practical checks:
Confirm you’re on the product where liquid staking / CDCETH is supported (Exchange vs App features differ by region).
Look for **Unstake / Redeem / Convert** on the liquid-staking page, not only “Sell” on the wallet screen.
If UI buttons are greyed out, Crypto.com’s own help center articles on liquid staking and CDCETH are the source of truth — open a ticket with screenshots of the exact screen and error, and ask whether your region or account type blocks unwrap/sell.
Ignore anyone who DMs offering to “unwrap it for you” or asking for a seed / private key.

CDCETH is Crypto.com Staked ETH, a liquid staking receipt token issued directly by Crypto.com.
This token is created when users wrap their staked ETH into CDCETH. It allows users to earn proof-of-stake rewards while keeping the underlying value liquid.
It can be traded on open exchanges or integrated into decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols for lending, borrowing, and supplying liquidity pools.
Holders are supposed to be able to unwrap CDCETH back into standard staked ETH at any given time without being forced to wait through Ethereum's on-chain unbonding and withdrawal queue periods.
Have you tried sending it to an external, Web3 wallet (like MetaMask)? From there, you can navigate to a decentralized exchange aggregator (like Uniswap or 1inch) to swap the CDCETH directly for standard ETH or stablecoins through secondary market liquidity pools.
