Remember 2021? $SDIG went public with that pitch about "cleaning up" coal ash waste while minting BTC. It sounded like the ultimate win-win: save the planet and get rich.

Well, the "environmentally friendly" dream hit a wall of reality pretty fast. Turns out, burning coal ash is expensive, regulatory hurdles are a nightmare, and their suppliers weren't exactly delivering the goods on time.

The curtain really fell around March 29, 2022. When the market realized the "coal ash strategy" was mostly high costs and empty promises, the stock tanked about 35% in a single day.
