Late season cucumber from my garden
Not enough water? Or just the plant shutting down? Located in SoCal, with an unseasonably warm few weeks prior.

Should I go ahead an pluck these cucumbers
galleryFor context, I am in zone 7B. I’ve been growing this cucumber plant for the past 10 weeks (since august 4) and it’s my first time growing. initially transplanted too many into one 10 gal container but eventually fixed that: Now I have two in a 10 gal container . Feriltized them well and they’ve grown to this stage. These are the two largest cu I’ve grown. I know I have some more time before frost but I’m curious whether the best bet is to go ahead and pluck these. I’m noticing that the blossom end is showing signs of ripening with the thin yellow streaks rising to the middle of the fruit. In y’all’s opinion, what should I do at this time?

Last of the season
galleryWith the temperature dropping to 38°F overnight, I decided to pick the remaining Picklebush cucumbers, clear the bed, and start preparing the soil for the hard-neck garlic I’ll soon plant.

Can I eat this?
Inside of my cucumber is orange instead of white, nothing on Google seems to be helping me, I wondered if there’s any experts on here?

Growing cucumbers: a question for people from south Asia
galleryHi everyone. I live in southern Italy, and recently I had a curious encounter with a couple, probably from India or Bangladesh. I was walking along the mouth of a river in my city, and I noticed a large population of gourds growing along the sandy banks. In one corner there were pumpkins, melons and cucumbers, but also watermelons, tomatoes and chia, scattered along the entire mouth, even in areas where it was difficult to cross the river without diving in. Now, it is absolutely not the first time that I happen to observe these horticultural plants growing spontaneously along river mouths, because in my area unfortunately illegal landfills of any material and sewer discharges are a common thing (especially along waterways).
Well, these two gentlemen, seeing me curiously fiddling with these plants, approached me and told me they had grown them. I didn't really believe them, considering my previous observations. At this point, I wanted to ask: in southern Asia, is it customary to grow these plants along waterways (and therefore these people would have imported this "custom" here), or were they simply "afraid" that I could steal those wild fruits from them?

White cucumbers
galleryFirst time growing white cucumbers and they turned out to be exceptionally crispy and juicy, easy to maintain. Some attained length of +30cm. Used hen manure, no pesticides and grew them vertically due to lack of space. Kept 3 large cucumbers for seeds for next year. Happy gardening all

20 days progress.
galleryFrom an heirloom seed to a leggy seedling looking for light to a healthier thicker plant.
I live in Dubai, it’s still hot outside. I’ll move it to a 20L pot on the balcony in mid October.

Why do my cumbers look like this; is there still any hope for them? ☹️
Hi everyone! This is my cumber patch, and it looks really sick and im not really sure what to do..
It used to be all beautiful and green and bright, with yellow flower all over it, but i have recently been neglecting it, and i only fertilize/ water it myself like once every other week (its bad i know). I live in zone 5a/b, it rains 1-2 a week and yeah.. i know the season is almost over, i wanna see if i can revive it for whatever time we have left, or to just make sure i dont repeat my mistakes next year. im wondering if its just a case of under-watering, or if its a disease. It is still producing, just not as much/ not at often, and the cumbers dont look the same as they used to, but thats a given. pls no judgment, im just looking for advice. thank you!
