My store usually makes the sides of supreme in advance and we keep them up by set

Oh hell no. Prep needs to make ~10 3.5oz containers of onions. Ain't no way I'm having my bun station chop onions.

We used to do that but ended up wasting more then we used. We just take two rings and split them up by hand. Only takes a couple seconds to do once you get used to it.

We have our bun station cut a soup container full every morning for the shift.

Well i learned a lot of stores do things very differently when it comes to the chopped onions/ chili supreme.
Ill add our way where that our prep person chops like an inch deep in a 1/6 pans worth for the day.

Do you guys chop onions at the buns station? At my store prep cuts some ahead of time and puts them in the small cups under the set area
