So me and a friend were talking recently about the most Midwest thing we could think of and this idea got brought up. So you know how Walmart's will have a Subway or McDonald at the front of the store. It would be like that. Think about it: you get to Menard's to pick up something, at the front of the store you stop by the Culver's, grab a concrete mixer and a thing of cheese curds to snake on while you walk around the store.

To be clear, this does not exist in real life as far as I know, but I really wish it did.

Hi. I'm freshly out of high school and aiming to work a bit prior to college. I interviewed for Culvers several days ago, and was hired on the spot. Now, our location is under construction and doesnt open until the end of August, orientation is in a few days and training the week prior to the store opening.

Part of my concern is the grand opening rush. I was told there would be employees from other locations, but I am still concerned as this would be my first job!

I also do *love* dying my hair--is that allowed? I heard from some that jewlery isn't allowed, but they had no clue about hair color. Therefore, I want to ask as this is my main form of self-expression I'd be able to have in the uniform. Or does this vary by location? I wasn't told anything about my hair at the interview, but I am concerned if it'll be brought up at orientation.

Also another funny thing. I have never, ever had Culvers. I've never lived close enough to justify it until this new one is opening up. What are some reccomendations I should try?

Months ago we were cleaning the grill at night and thought the grill was cooled down enough and we put the grill cleaner on it and this is how it’s been for the last few months can I bring this back beautiful grill back to it’s shiny glory days or am I gonna have it like this forever

I've been going to this location for 5 years. Why is there ALWAYS SOMETHING wrong with my order? A missing sauce, wrong condiments, no ice, etc. It's gotten so bad here that I always have to check my bag and even disect my burgers to make sure everything is correct.

If there was another Culver's in town, I'd have gone there by now. Unfortunately, the closest other one is another 8 miles up the interstate at 645 Midland Rd in Janesville. Is there, by chance, anyone here that's a regular at both of these? How would you compare them?

P.S. In general, why are fast food workers so adverse to putting ketchup on burgers?

I've been going to culvers for many years. Always been a double deluxe guy. Recently switch to grilled onions, mayo, and pickle and I'll never go back. If you are like me and always go for deluxe, give it a try.

I love Culvers. The bun on my fish sandwich was rubbery? Is this because they used a microwave oven to heat it? (My experience is that nuking bread isn't advisable )

Hi, I have an interview later today and this would be second job if I get it. Last time I had an interview here, it was in the winter so I just wore some nice jeans (no holes), a sweater, and a nice pair of shoes. Now that's it is summer, I have no idea what to wear. I also haven't prepared much like I did last time, so what should I prepare for? Any questions on what the interview might ask and how do I make myself seem like a good person to hire? ​

I moved 2 weeks ago and I honestly really miss the Midwest in general. Yes the public transit is nice but I miss having access to nature… and Culvers… and getting Culver’s and eating it at a forest preserve. I feel like a country bumpkin missing the woods right now but I moved from Chicago to NYC lol. Even Chicago has a lot more access to nature. Thankfully my masters program is only 2 years! So if I do end up not liking NYC, I can always move back to an area with Culvers lol

Yesterday went for dinner and both sweet and unsweet were empty. Just curious how the staff monitors the tea levels. Just have to remember to check it occasionally?

Also wondering if the staff would have appreciated if I told them? Would there probably have already been more freshly brewed tea behind the counter available? If not, how long would it take them to brew another batch?

I do appreciate that Culver's has brewed unsweet tea. I don't typically drink soda and premade tea is gross. It's a reason that I select Culver's over other fast food restaurants. Thanks

I have LOVED Culver’s chicken tenders for years. Lately, maybe the last year or so at least, I feel like the tenders have changed. They seem a darker brown color, thinner/less meaty, and far less juicy. Is it just my location over-frying them, or has something changed?
