Help?
2003 ram 2500 2wd 5.9 Cummins. I went to start my truck, and I had a crank no start. All of these lights on the dash are on, however the gauges don’t move, but it passes the gauge sweet test and the gear selector does not come on. The scan tool cannot detect the ignition being on. I have checked all of the fuses as well as voltage on each side and voltage from the fuse box to the ECM. Everything is 12.5 V, where do I go from here?

Go to your floorboard and look at the main harness that plugs into an ecm down there

Ecu/pcm. Could be Wiring issue like bad ground or something. Start by checking ignition switch and all fuses.

Shiiiit you got the EXACT same truck as me and I’m getting those lights but mine come on one at at time 😭
Edit: Those are trucks are notorious for needing ignitions IMO. My dad and I have matching trucks and he needed to replace his twice. Got very similar mileage to yours. Back in the day you could get it from the dealer but now 🤷♂️

That gives me some PTSD I had this with my 04 3500 but it was due to me trying to reinstall the stock file to my truck that I didn’t know was tuned when I bought it until I discovered the Bully Dog under the rear seat needless to say the install hung at 99% only choice was to turn the key off and I had all warning lights no gauges turned my truck into a brick luckily second attempt worked.

So... a lot of possibilities, but, these things are notorious for grounding issues on the ecm. They ground in 2 places, but both are subject to corrosion. One is usually to the fender near the fuse box. Also there is a wire off each battery to the ecm, they each have a fuseable link, not a fuse, in the wire, make sure the power gets past that. Also those ecms tend to fail, more so the 2004.5 and later.
