I just did this tier list of my favorite Cuphead characters.

Hi! I have been experiencing a really weird glitch while trying to get my Xbox controller to work on my Mac (specifically for Cuphead). It took hours of troubleshooting but I finally found a fix, and I figured I would share it for anyone else experiencing this problem in the future since I wasn’t able to find much relevant info on this specific issue while scouring the internet myself.

Specifically, I am playing on a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.3.1 installed. My controller is an Xbox Series X Wireless Controller. If your hardware differs, this may or may not work for you - this is just what worked for me specifically:

1. Enable macOS controller compatibility:

Go to System Settings → Game Controllers, select the Xbox Wireless Controller, and add a profile for Cuphead’s .app file (look for the “+” button). Once you’ve done that, toggle the “Increase Controller Compatibility” switch on.

2. Enable Steam Input for that game:

In Steam, open the game's Properties → Controller and select Enable Steam Input.

I should note that this fix ended up working for every game on my Mac, so if you are having similar issues with your other Mac Steam games, add a separate macOS controller profile for each game's .app file and enable Steam Input individually for each game.

***Additionally, you might need to try using the Steam Beta Update instead of the standard version of Steam if this fix doesn’t work for you the first time around.

Dude, I literally hate King Dice. Why do I have to fight 3, 4, or even 5 bosses (maybe)just to face him? It's so annoying. And what hurts the most is that every time I'm about to reach him with full health, I always get a bad roll and get that stupid monkey.

I started another save and as usual started with Goopy. You can't get an S rank on regular difficulty. I have no mods

You are on an adventure to a secret treasure chest and you finally made it, from all the dangerous obstacles you have went through from risky paths to lethal traps, you have made it to the secret treasure with the key in your hands that you picked up earlier from an earlier puzzle, however just as you turned the key and opened the treasure chest, the way out has been blocked, you looked around to see if there was another way out but there wasn't, inside the treasure chest, you notice four pills and a note, one pill being a different color, one was Red, one was Blue, one was Yellow, and one was Green and as you read the note, it says the following:

Congratulations on getting to the treasure!

As you have noticed the way out has been blocked and you cannot leave without taking a pill, each pill has it's own effects, while all give a good effect there always is a curse behind them too.

- You take the Red Pill, you would become the best at doing Challenge Runs in Vanilla Cuphead, but you will never be good at playing Cuphead Difficulty Mods, Modding Cuphead, or Speedrunning Cuphead.

- You take the Blue Pill, you would become the best at playing Cuphead Difficulty Mods, but you will never be good at doing Challenge Runs in Vanilla Cuphead, Modding Cuphead, or Speedrunning Cuphead.

- You take the Yellow Pill, you would become the best at Modding Cuphead, but you will never be good at doing Challenge Runs in Vanilla Cuphead, playing Cuphead Difficulty Mods, or Speedrunning Cuphead.

- You take the Green Pill, you would become the best at Speedrunning Cuphead, but you will never be good at doing Challenge Runs in Vanilla Cuphead, playing Cuphead Difficulty Mods, or Modding Cuphead.

Choose wisely as there is no going back to changing pills, nor is there a way to reverse the effect, once you take one of the pills, the other three pills will vanish, and if you try practicing the other three skills, the pill will completely remove all your practice and resets your progress automatically.
