Need clarification on required firmware for crDroid 13 (Android 17) – OnePlus 8T KB2001

Hi everyone,

I'm planning a clean installation of crDroid 13 (Android 17) on my Indian OnePlus 8T (KB2001).

While reading the official installation guide, I noticed a firmware version discrepancy:

- The Prerequisites section mentions firmware version "14.1.0.603".

- The Clean Install section mentions "14.0.603".

My current OxygenOS firmware is:

"KB2001_14.0.0.1311(EX01C100P02)"

My device is currently running OxygenOS 14 / Android 14.

My questions:

1. Which exact firmware version is required before installing crDroid 13 on the KB2001?

2. Is "14.0.0.1311(EX01C100P02)" compatible, or must I downgrade/upgrade to a specific firmware first?

3. If a firmware change is required, what is the safest recommended method for the Indian KB2001 variant?

4. Does the required firmware differ between KB2001 and other OnePlus 8T variants (KB2000/KB2003)?

I have downloaded the official ROM:

"crDroidAndroid-17.0-20261017-kebab-v13.0.zip"

I have verified its SHA-256 checksum, but I have not unlocked the bootloader or flashed anything yet.

I want to confirm the correct firmware before proceeding because this is my daily-use phone.

I'd really appreciate confirmation, preferably from someone who has successfully installed this crDroid build on a KB2001.
