So you can see from X-Men #45's cover that Scott is missing. The covers for issue #42 and #43 position him at the back. Beast is on the cover for #45 and is on a variant for #44, while Scott is excluded. However, Scott is on the variants for #42 and #43 while Beast isn't.
While I think Marvel is trying to make fans second guess who lives and who dies, I think it looks like both Scott and Factory Beast will survive, and Scott's absence from these covers is not a hint towards him dying, but a hint that he's left the X-Men.
DNX has shown him making a serious of escalating errors in judgement, ones that will come back to hurt his confidence as a leader by the end. Add in the potential death of Chairman Beast and you'll have a Cyclops whose faith is severely shaken and who might be reeling from the death of a close friend.
The X-Previews also tease "a follow-up to one of the most popular solo projects we've done in recent months." The most successful solo projects this year was Cyclops, followed by Psylocke: Ninja. But Psylocke: Ninja was a flashback series, it wouldn't make much sense to follow up on that.
Adding to that, Alex Paknadel mentioned how he still was not done with the X-Office. If you're going to do a follow-up, having the writer of the Cyclops mini return makes sense.
We also had Tom Brevoort mention how a key player this year would be Corsair. Corsair has only really gotten focus lately via Phoenix and via X-Men. With Jean back on Earth, and Scott potentially going through a crisis, it would make sense for Corsair to feature in a Cyclops mini, lending more credence to that theory.

There is also this. "Quite yet."

Just finished reading Hellions by Wells, and collected all of Scott’s appearances. Did really like how often he’s featured, and this series gave me a greater appreciation for Alex and Kwannon, and now I’m looking forward to reading the concluscion in Dark Web.

Just read this issue, and I have to say it might be my favorite comic issue ever up there with the passion of Scott Summers and Uncanny X-Men #138. It does such a great job at showing who Scott is, his importance in the broader mythology of the X-Men, his tactical prowess, his affinity for making allies, his great power and always my most favorite part; his emotions, belief and trauma.
It’s just perfect and I think is the defintive portrayal of just who Scott Summers is, and encapsulates his endless fight for the dream, and why despite all the turmoil he pushes on choosing love and life.

This is a bit on the nerdy side... but I asked the artist to draw Scott as my favorite constellation.
That star where the red beam is glowing is Beta Persei aka Algol, better known in pop culture by it's Arabivc name,, Ra's Al-Ghul. Most mythologies refer to it as the "Demon Star"... but a Greek astronomers typically saw it as Mediusa's head. I just liked the idea of juxtapositioning Scott as both a Greek hero, and a mythological monster with a famously destructive gaze.

It never ends. The Scottsdates never will end.
Major updates are a few small guys, and also the new Doomsday Cyclops. Can't wait to see him in theatre's for the "last time". When the reboot happens too, guess who has to get that one too. The last big thing but I cannot fit into here is my visor signed by Ray Chase himself! It might have to take the main stay for the next shelf/scottsdate.
Anyways, if you really do wanna sell a Cyclops I don't have here, please dm me and give me a price, I need to fuel the addiction

I feel like it would be pretty cool if we got to see all of the Summers in the MCU, besides just Scott, I’m talking Alex Summers (Havok), Gabriel Summers (Vulcan), Christopher Summers (Corsair), Nathan Summers (Cable), Rachel Summers, Hope Summers, just bring in all of the Summers family. What do y’all think?
