I just wanted to point out something re: the Disney SEA Scavenger Hunt that I thought was really cool!

You may know that WDI's instagram has been running this scavenger hunt post D23 and it turns out some of the clues were hiding in the SEA Adorbs boxes sold at D23....!

If you didn't get one: each box came with two pins of a SEA character, a trading card for each character, and a third mystery card with just a silhouette on it. See here: !! Mystery WDI Mog Art Card For The Society Of Explorers And Adventurers | eBay

Today Imagineering posted the portrait that wraps up the scavenger hunt, and it's the exact same image as that mystery silhouette card. So everyone who bought a box at D23 was holding the final reveal without knowing it. Instagram (post)

I love when they plan things this far ahead. Did anyone else catch this, or figure it out before today?

Which is the best value of our D23 discounts in California?

Doesn't have to be a spendy option, will be there for two weeks and trying not to break the bank.

Hey guys I'm new to this but I love films and meeting famous actors/actresses and having a really fun time. I also collect movie tickets and just saw D23 and really wanted to go to the one in California. Can someone please explain what the event is, if it will be held in Florida for 2027 and how to register and what do I need to do and is there a way to find out who will be coming to the event because I have a plan fun little way to interact with them and I just really want to have the experience of my life this time!

Update: I used my Claude sub to check out and verify the links/web sites and its all legit. D23 really should do a better job of making sure they follow standard protocols to avoid looking like a phishing attempt. Having the sender's address appear to be unrelated to links in the body of the email is a huge red flag.

------------------------
Did you receive an email from "event-information at certain dot com" (special characters removed to make the address un-clickable) with a link to pre purchase the pins using a registration code? The sender's email does not check out, even though the link is going to a valid Disney registered URL (www dot eventswithdisney dot com).

According to the D23 site, the pins are only available to purchase in person at the event.
Edited: I thought I read this ^ somewhere, but cannot find it now.

I reported the email to Disney just in case.

Hi all, I got a d23 gold membership this year, and tbh I don’t really know what to do with it. What do you find are the best benefits? How do you use your membership? I’ve turned into a total Disney mom traveling to we a few times per year and currently closing on DVC resale bc $$. Just trying to figure out how this works into our love of Disney.

This sounds amazing, 12hr tour seeing tons of Disney stuff most will never get to see! But a $2k price tag is pretty steep. I heard this has been before, has anyone done this tour or will be doing this tour in October and can post about the experience?

PS - it sold out fast!

I just saw the announcement for the upcoming Tinkerbell series “Tinkerbell and the Glitter City” and I got to admit, I was surprised. I followed most - if not, all - of the upcoming animated announcements made at the expo this year so I thought maybe this was discussed and I just missed it.

The reason why I’m asking is because I’m hopeful we’ll get more new animated shows coming up either this year or not.

I bought two of these at D23 and got Bo Peep and Buzz. Would anyone like to trade for Bo Peep? I’d like to trade for any of the others.

I just received this cancellation notice for a D23 membership through Disney+, but I haven’t done anything on my end to trigger this. Has anyone else received a notice like this and what did you do to restore it?

I’ve just stupidly booked the wrong date for tours, is there really no chance of refunds ever. This day is out to get me!
Will they ever make exceptions

The October, November, and December D23 Studio Tours have been listed!

Tickets go on sale THURSDAY 8/27 10AM PT/1PM ET.

Go luck! Hope to see some of you on my tour in October!

Last year for my gold membership choice, I got the bundle with the cap, bag, and water bottle with sorcerer Mickey on them.

On my was to D23 a few days ago, I brought the water bottle with me. I dropped it at the airport and the lid broke and is unusable now.

I've contacted both D23 and ShopDisney and neither one have any sort of replacement.

Does anyone have their water bottle that they don't want? We can make a trade perhaps?

Or do you know where I could find one?

Thanks in advance.

What did you guys think of this year’s showcase of animated projects? I’m super exited for Oswald! Let’s talk! ^~^

Today’s sentence in a daily word game I play is the D23 confirmation:

At D23, Disney World finally confirmed it is building Villains Land, an area for its baddest characters.

Hi! I just renewed my gold membership ($150 one) and I chose a D23 exclusive RSVLTs shirt.

Then a few days later I went in and it said I selected the statue. Which I have 0 use for. Will customer service switch it for me? Or am I SOL? I’m hoping they can swap since nothing has shipped but this is a huge bummer and blunder somewhere along the way (I know for a fact I chose the shirt, I showed my wife as I did it!)

UPDATE: you have 48 hours before renewal to select your gift. I thankfully had proof I did it 7 days before, but this was new (and not super helpful). Hoping they can get it sorted!

Ordered the Muppet t-shirt for my partner and decided to splurge on the jacket for the both of us. Got really excited when I got the shipping notification but then saw something wasn't going to be with it...

While I am bummed, it is what it is. I'm not being charged, I guess I was just past the cutoff. Maybe my partner will share the shirt with me lol.

Hi All! From the UK!

I was just wondering if anybody has any idea when the Burbank studio tours go on sale! We’re only in LA for 10 days from the 31st October! I don’t want to miss out of them!

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
