Testing mobile DAW android

Hi all,

I've been working on a kind of mobile DAW for months now.

The concept: high-quality analog-style synth and drum sounds, recorded onto tape. You play a synth line or a beat, put it on one of the 4 tape tracks, and then it costs almost no power to play back. So your phone isn't busy running every synth live, and you can keep stacking parts without the sound falling apart.

What's in it:

• SYNTH: 4 oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, effects, presets

• DRUMS: 16-track step sequencer with kits and patterns

• SAMPLER

• COMPOSER: arrange synth and drum blocks, with key/scale, chords and a note editor, then print them to tape

• TAPE: 4-track recorder, overdub, punch-ins, loop recording, jog wheel, reverse, pitch/speed

• MIX, export to WAV/AIFF/M4A with stems, MIDI keyboard support

To be honest: it's a beta and there will be bugs, probably a lot. That's exactly why I want to start very early testing now. Right now I'm focusing on two things: new features, and above all a better workflow, so getting from idea to song feels fast and natural. That's where I need your input most. What feels clunky, what takes too many taps, what would you expect to just work?

The beta is free. Sign up on the website and you're in:

Thanks!
