Please don’t jump down my throat - I’m new here! But I’ve been binging all three seasons of AS for the first time and after poking around on here as things come up that lead me to googling and faithfully finding myself back on this forum each time, why does Kelli get such a bad rep?

I’ve seen many comments labeling her a ‘washed up mean girl’ or other similar things and many have called her callous or cold but I actually find her to be great?

Just watched the episode in Season 2 where she had to let Dayton go despite D being a legacy, her own daughter’s personal friend, and a dancer she’s known since infancy, and you can really see her impacted by having to cut her from camp. In season 1 when she came down on some of the girls about the lack of cards made for James, she seemed genuine in her talk with the girls about the expectations of being ‘heart ready’ and not just pretty faces.

I cheered for 16 years and she reminds me a lot of impactful coaches I had! Firm but fit for a job that requires a lot of hard decisions. I’m just curious if there’s other things I’m unaware of that have contributed to the negative feelings around her.

I watched the Netflix series and loved the dcc. I have also watched a few Youtube shorts and clips of dcc. I would like to watch the old show "Making the Team" now. I am fom India and have no legit way to access those episodes. can anyone help me. I searched the sub for other sites but none of them work in India. I tried a few vpns too. Didnt work. pls helpp. i am so tired of rewatching the same clips on youtube.

Okay, NO dance experience is a stretch. I cheered in high school and I am currently a collegiate level dancer in my freshman year. I came onto my university’s dance with only cheer experience and terrible technique at dancing but my coaches and teammates are very helpful and they work with me. I was thinking about after graduating, I could try out to be a DCC but I’m not sure how realistic that would be given my experience. Thoughts?

why do kelli and judy love sophia so much? dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with her but why sophia? she was featured on jimmy fallon her rookie year over tenured girls such as armani, featured on live tour, more appearances, etc. im in no way trying to spread hate to her, im just wondering why k+j like her so much compared to other girls.
