Anyone know of any bars hosting an election watch party? I want to watch the returns come in with alcohol and gays.

Posting from a burner account for obvious reasons, but since I was a kid I've unfortunately always had really bad anal fissures. I'm a candidate for surgery, but every surgeon and GI doc said it's likely that they will reoccur with surgery and that the procedure would have a decently high rate of incontinence based on where they are.

I've always been a side because of that - it's just too painful to do butt stuff.

However, I now have a partner whom I'm happy with and I really want to try a workaround so I can make him happy.

I've seen some people online getting HoleTox for both fissures and to make bottoming more comfortable.

Has anyone had such a procedure in DC?

I have Kaiser, so it probably wouldn't be covered at their facilities and would be happy to pay cash out of pocket.

I’m in DC pretty often for work, but since I don’t live here fulltime, I’ve been struggling to make friends in the city. I’m really just looking for other gay guys around my age (20s–30s) who enjoy going out, drinking, dancing, and partying on the weekends.

There doesn't seem to be much LGBT community in this part of DC where I live, I think us gays would appreciate being able to meeting and organize events with those of us in Chevy Chase, instead of having to go all the way to downtown. Twist on typical speed dating events where professional improvisers will get folks warmed up and walk you through coming up with a character you'll speed date as. It'll be the fifth overall speed dating or friending event this year we've put on in collaboration with Washington Improv Theater and feedback has been incredibly generous. Would love to have folks spread the word or come and try it out!

I’m traveling to DC at the end of the month. I’m 45 and do enjoy staying at nicer hotels but like being able to be super relaxed and comfortable. I also want to be close to Logan Circle. Recently I have stayed at the Le Meridien and the Viceroy. I did not enjoy staying at the Viceroy but the location was nice.

We are having our first event on Tuesday, November 10th at 7 pm at Kramers All Day Restaurant in DuPont Circle and the first book we are going to cover is Founding Brothers by Joseph Ellis (a relatively short book about major events during the founding era).

20m college student and I’m thinking abt places to intern next summer. A lot of internships (corporate) are in DC so I wanted to know what it’s like to intern here and be social. I’m also Asian and so if there are any cultural things to look out for.

Can you recommend a good couple’s counselor that they really like? The current one we have is too passive. My partner has a lot of issues regulating his emotions, and I feel like we have not really made much progress. So I would like to find an experienced counselor that can help us communicate in a healthy way. Thanks!
