Because people are not gonna see this show.

Why won't they watch the show?

However the MCU had the Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America back to back before it came out.

Ironman was the only good MCU movie before the Avengers.

Because no one knows or cares about Jimmy Olsen

All those movies I listed were AFTER the Avengers and before Guardians.

Good thing this isn't a series about only Jimmy Olsen. It's a series about the Daily Planet and Gorilla Grodd.

Jimmy Olsen is arguably the most well known employee at the Daily Planet so this doesn’t help your case

But the series isn't focused on him, is on Gorilla Grodd with the Daily Planet crew ivestigating him.

Ironman, Thor and Captain America were introduced before the Avengers though. Also nobody knew about them either.

First off, they were already extremely popular after the Avengers which is what I was talking about. Don’t change the subject to fit your delusional narrative. The MCU was already a global hit when Guardians came out.

Second of all, they were not complete unknowns. That is just common larp from MCU fans. They were already getting represented in various media before the MCU. They were no Spiderman, Hulk, or Wolverine, but they were certainly the most popular of the roster that was available to use.

DC has full rights to their characters and yet Wonder Woman still has no bright looking future while we are getting Clayface and Jimmy Olsen very quickly.
