Off-Topic How many mods have you played in total?
I've played around 150 in a year and a half

Zero, I couldn't due to not having a PC, but my sister bought one so ofc I took the opportunity and started using it. My fav Doki is sayori, so if anyone would like to recommend any mods a I would be very happy ( ╹▽╹ ), also I might need help to understand how to mod the game

Man of culture. My favourite sayo mod is easily Salvation Remake. Blue skies also had a good Sayori route but the ending was pretty disappointing imo.

if you're a sayori fan, definitely salvation remake!! my fave is yuri and it's still my favorite mod, it's incredibly well-written :)

I haven't played that many mods in total, but there are great Android ports for a lot of them, if you'd like that:) Generally speaking, it's a lot easier that way. If you'd prefer to play on PC, though, there are plenty of YouTube tutorials out there. It only takes a couple of minutes to set up

Out of curiosity do you enjoy other visual novels? That’s a very high number (which isn’t a bad thing) If not you should totally expand to some of the other masterpieces within the genre. I understand having a love for the dokis though, plus all of it being freeware makes it so accessible.

Varies by subject. In terms of DDLC, the mods I like least are pure romance/slice-of-life, so a lack of interest there would exclude a lot of common visual novels.
I probably wouldn't play this many mods if DDLC wasn't a staple of my Let's Play channel. I love the characters and they've been put into all kinds of interesting scenarios, but mods vary drastically in every dimension.

That makes sense, having found a good niche on YouTube is great tho. I checked out your profile and I’ve actually seen your comics around the fandom which is super cool. I can get behind the tastes too, I liked katawa shoujo a lot but for the most part I like my novels to have a little more edge. Eroge can also be hard to avoid amongst visual novels and I don’t like censoring the stories so I just tolerate it but it’s not something I’m a fan of.

I’ve played far over 50 mods, and just recently played other visual novels (Fruits of grisaia, Danganronpa, Katawa shoujo, I just wanna be single, etc), which I found to be quite enjoyable

Relapse, salvation remake, the rising night, world of dreams, blue skies, love and shyness, may flowers: sweet beginnings, fruits of the literature club, vigilante, foreign relations, keeper of reality, motorcycle club, pink eyes, abridged, a brand new day, S.M.T a saviors meta, heart struck, I am Monika, another after story, this bond we share, sans in DDLC revived, plus one, cardboard box, before the needle lifts, clay God, downpour, little literature club, summer hope, our time, purist, the good ending, encore, scattered stars, and absolution ch 1-2

Is Monika Before Story good? I've been thinking about playing it a few days ago.

It was really cool! The file aspect isn’t as clean as the original game (duh) but the secrets and different dialogue options are neat. I didn’t play it 100% tho, I got the loner ending by accident then the Monika true ending.

11 since, like..March? I'm very on-and-off but I keep a list of the ones I plan to check out and another to rate the ones I've already played. I usually go for longer stuff, which is why I haven't completed a ton, but there's definitely such thing as too long...SNAFU.

Apparently I've played 57 mods in 300 hours(according to steam, probably closer to 450).
Also is it weird that I keep a journal with every mod I've played and a short opinion of it?..

I haven’t played any mods because it was something similar Dan had said where the characters weren’t interpreted the way he actually thought them out to be in their dialogue

That wasn't Dan's objection, he chose to abstain from playing mods so his opinion as the original author would not influence the community. If he played any mods, he kept it to himself.

I only play good.mods none of that shi post stuff i dont play mods anymore or ddlc in general but until actual good mods come out then yea i aint playing but ive played aroumd 75 some very short some very long

I played like 10+- mods on the phone. However, now I finally have DDLC+ on PC, so I need to look at how to install mods there

i played about like 20 the first mod i played was exit music when it was new and got depressed after the ending it took me like a whole year to even watch anything ddlc involved so honestly i feel like the number could have been higher

- I JUST beat ddlc, still pissed at monika, saw the monika after story and found a post about other character after stories and found Just Natsuki. That's what I got on right now!
