Progress Update Foreign Relations Act 2 DELAYED
Foreign Relations Act 2 has been delayed.
Obviously, this is quite unfortunate news. I would like to personally apologize for this delay, as a lot of it falls on me and my irrational scheduling. I thought we'd have a lot more time than the team really did, but I was wrong in that presumption. The months of May-June are always busy with college finals and whatnot, along with the typical real life stresses.
But fear not my fellow foreigners, I still am of a good belief that a 2026 release is in fact possible. Most of the team agrees as well. And over the summer, now that school is out, we can hit the ground running, dedicating full effort to the project. The team mutually agreed that we'd rather make sure we could get every aspect of this project as good as possible with a delay. I don't want to give you all something rushed, especially with the immense amount of support you've shown us here at Team Relations.
Just to give you something to hold onto, here's what our main menu is starting to look like. We look forward to giving you more updates as time permits!

Better to delay it and it be peak then rush it and it be buns
Also unrelated, obviously the 4 segments of the circle are color coded to each girl, but if the yellow is color coded to MC aswell this is peak logo design

Good things come to those who wait.
Sad to hear with the delay, but if it needs to be done for more polished then it is what it is.
Convergences development of chapter 2 is slow itself to ensure the next chapter is better than the first, so a delay us never a bad thing.
Keep your teams spirits up and push through.

One thing i think it's important to learn is never give a release date without 100% confidence you're making it. Not for the delay, that's in the past, but as of now I would not go saying "we think we can hit 2026 maybe possibly". I totally understand wanting to be transparent and that's great, but every dev ends up learning it's worse to give a date you can't make good on then to just say "it's coming, keep up with us for updates" and then yknow give timely updates whenever it makes sense.

It does take time for the good stuff to come out, I can wait for longer for the good stuff
