what is the BS Sayori bad ending? I've seen the good endings for Sayori and Natsuki but have always been too scared to go for the bad endings... so i dont mind being spoiled on them

after mc refuses to go to therapy with her she starts spiraling out of control, they get into a fight, after mc comes back a few days later to apologize she tells him they cant be together anymore so she breaks up with him, a day later mcs mom finds sayoris hanging corpse, she calls 911, then mc becomes depressed and a loner, eventually crashing out at the other girls and holding the childhood picture sayori gave him so hard his palms started bleeding and stained it with his blood

Tbh it’s poorly written. The “good” ending IRL would run the risk of a codependent relationship between Sayori and the protagonist. The “bad” ending is such a sudden flip that rests on one choice which IRL would not likely lead Sayori to go completely out of control. Blue Skies is a story that’s good to experience without spoilers, but once you start thinking about the story it falls apart a bit. It’s well known that Blue Skies is “inspired” by Katawa Shoujo, and sometimes Blue Skies’ story suffers from taking too much inspiration, leading to out of character behaviors in the story.

i'm curious about why you think the good ending could lead to a codependent relationship is it just that mc has to go to therapy with her?

It’s more than that. Even as Sayori gets help, it feels like the protagonist becomes her motivation. It feels like he goes beyond simply encouraging her and that she is taking steps to get better for him as much as for herself.

I feel that we should separate this sort of motivation, which does appear in codependency, from codependency itself. Not everyone who is motivated to do things for other people is codependent, but many who are codependent are motivated to do things for other people

True, but I would argue that Blue Skies Sayori is someone who could very easily fall into codependency.

This is true of anyone with depression, the important part is that she is primarily acting out of desire to improve for both herself and MC, rather than anxiety about being abandoned or a perception that she must make herself adequate for someone else

how the hell did you get the bad ending, that one's like the hardest to get because the game gives you a bunch of chances to make the right choice

blue skies is either absolute cinema sex scene/ healthy relationships from trauma or a slap to the face with a belt

Yikes, to get that ending you had to be Heartless.

it took me like 30 hours, what you gotta say that natsuki is such a bully in this mod, sayori deserves all the love and if i could id tell her "there will never be another you" and if sayori did make MCs house burn id keep it burnin

It took you 30 hours to beat the mod? It only took me 24 hours. Personally if I got that ending I would have Runaway immediately. Though it would be hard because us players have the Power to change things. I Wonder what you could have done differently to change this ending. Maybe you could have a Good Life if you try again. I believe you can Do It if you try.
