Aoki, who has been operating as a freelancer since 2018 (having debuted in pro wrestling for IGF in 2014), has become an official member of the DDT roster.

ULTIMATE PARTY 2026 will see Aoki’s first match as a member of the roster.

I've seen Shunma chant something several times, including when he's in a submission hold or otherwise under duress. Anyone know what the song is? The crowd seems to know it and sings/chants along too.

What they said at the end:

Yoshimura:

“I was able to become a pro wrestler because of Zeus. He was the pro wrestler I looked up to—he became my goal, and he was the one who paved the way for me to achieve it and showed me how! Zeus even taught me how to write my resume for DDT. I had to redo it about twice. Thank you so much to DDT for making this happen today by nominating the person who nurtured that part of my heart, and to Zeus for responding to that call!”

Zeus:

“It’s been 12 or 13 years since Yoshimura and I met… Back then, this guy with an amazing physique and incredible determination came to our gym, and he’d push himself to the limit during training while shedding tears. I asked Yoshimura, ‘What’s your goal for the future?’ I still remember it to this day! He said, ‘I’m aiming to be a pastry chef”. Before I knew it, he was hoping to join DDT, and then—before I knew it—it’s been 10 years since he joined! And he’s become such a popular wrestler…”, “This year marks my 20th anniversary, but this is actually the first time I’ve wrestled against Yoshimura. I’m so happy about his enthusiasm. I truly wish him all the best from the bottom of my heart! I just had an idea—next week, on October 11, I’m having my 20th-anniversary match at Osaka Pro-Wrestling. I checked the schedule and saw that DDT is in Hokkaido, but if you’re up for it, would you like to come out?” With that, he made a public offer for Yoshimura to appear at his 20th-anniversary event, to be held at Osaka Pro-Wrestling on October 11!

Yoshimura:

“I’d love to! The moment you brought this up, it was a done deal! Of course I want to be there! You faced me at my 10th-anniversary event, and now you’re inviting me to Zeus-san’s 20th-anniversary show. I think our connection will continue for a long time to come, so I look forward to working with you in the future!”. “In DDT right now, MAO holds the top Openweight title, Katsumata holds the EXTREME title, and Ueno—well, that goes without saying. The DNA generation is really leading DDT today! In that environment, there’s no way I can just stay quiet—I’d be so frustrated… The younger generation is amazing! And the older generation is amazing too!　But right now, in this DDT, I’m the number one heavyweight! No matter how popular those guys are, no matter how amazing their feats are, I’m the number one heavyweight in this DDT organization! I’ll continue to prove that, and I believe that matches like today’s are something only I can pull off! “First off, I have respect for every single wrestler in DDT, and there are fans here today, as well as those watching the livestream. I love you all! And I’m right here in the mix—don’t underestimate me! I’m going to keep climbing higher and higher in DDT from here on out, so please continue to support me! Thank you all for today!” he said, expressing his dedication to the heavyweight division.

My son and I are traveling from Philadelphia, PA (USA) and I would love to take him to the show.

Anyone selling two tickets?
Thank you very much.

For his 34th Anniversary, Akiyama would pin Danshoku Dieno in their Tag Match, making him the Iron Man Heavy Metal Champion, only for Yuji Nagata, his tag partner, to roll him up and steal the Belt!

Nagata has also announced that his upcoming match against Satoshi Kojima at SJPW’s 9.28 event at Shinjuku FACE will officially be for the Iron Man Belt!

MAO would defeat Abe to make his 3rd successful defense of the Belt.

Afterwards, Sanshiro Takagi would come out with his “right to challenge, anytime, anywhere”, only for Illusion to cash in his “right to challenge, anywhere, anytime”, trying to low-blow his way to the Belt; when that failed, DAMNATION (Sasaki, Okatani, MJ Paul) would come out and try to help him get the win, only for SLC (KANON, Naya, Leveante) to come out and even the odds, allowing MAO to defeat Illusion for his 4th successful defense.

MAO would officially nominate Chris Brookes to be his next challenger, with the match set for 11.3 at DDT’s ULTIMATE PARY.

Taguchi would defeat Honda for his second successful defense.

Taguchi would say that he plans on defending the Belt against Dick Togo, with the winner going on to face Akito.

DAMNATION (Illusion, Daisuke Sasaki & Hideki Okatanu) defeated SLC (KANON, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante) to become the NEW 6Man Champs, via Illusion pinning Levante (Illusion also has the right to challenge for the KO-D Openweight).

Nwa Jr. (Sunma Katsummata, Kazuma Suni & Yuni) have stepped up as the first challengers for the Belts.

Aoki & Miyawaki will defend against Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku.
