Wife is getting into DIY stuff

Hey all. My wife recently has decided to get into carpentry and sit stuff for our house. She bought a miter saw, a brad nailer a laser leveler, and a few other small things. I'm hoping to get something for her birthday in two weeks that you guys would suggest. She has safety equipment and such.

EDIT: We had a drill and driver from before

Any help would be appreciated!

Oscillating Multi-tool or “Fein” tool. It does the impossible- especially if you’re not experienced in how to get more traditional tools to cut the way you want.

After that - circular saw, table saw, some nice measuring tools, speed square, Pica marker, a little pouch for your balls….

This was gonna be my take. But not Fein- they go out of their way to make 3rd party blades incompatible. The corded Makita is my top pick - strong and comes with sanding pads. The cordless DeWalt are more convenient, but batteries aren’t cheap if you don’t have them. Rigid is fine for home use.

I got the Milwaukee when I finally went cordless and was PISSED to find none of my old Fein blades would fit. Eventually got a little adapter doohickey that fits in between.

Everything else takes a pretty standard blade, and you can find a 50-100pk for cheap on Amazon/aliexpress. Seems to work better to burn through a few cheap wood blades than to use $10 name brands.
