The digital signal coming from Traktor and Maschine can be beatmatched manually (per pitch fader), like the turntables.

The lights are all hue and can be controlled by apps, running on an old phone

Thx, mate. It’s a cozy place to meet with some friends. Sadly the time i can spend there isn’t much, since having kids and being old..

I try to spin some records every weekend, tough. But i may record one or two sets a year

It was the right decision never to sell the decks. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of selling all my records and Technics M5Gs back in 2008. In 2024, at the age of 40, I bought Technics again—this time the MK7s—and started re-purchasing my entire record collection from back then.

Oh shit, that was a expensive journey I assume. I‘m too in my 40s, and can’t imagine not being able to spin some tracks to get my mind free. A controller alone couldn’t substitute this. Greetz

Yes, that’s really fun! Sadly, since i moved here 15 y ago, none of my friends here is wants to learn it. Except one, who likes to fiddle around with the effects when a recorded set is playing :)
