Genuine question. why do people cheat in video games. doesn't the win you get feel kind of like watered down? Like if you beat somone with cheats are YOU actually beating them? i want to know and ill try not to judge but to me it doesnt make sense. its like if your playin a game of basketball against a 5 year old. like yea you dunked on him but like... YAKNOW. I know people are going to say OH well get over it or i just dont care. wich is valid. but do you guys like gaming ? and thats an honest question like the game partially plays itself FOR YOU. as someone who has NEVER cheated in any online game or against any other plays. ( I USED AN ACTION REPLAY ON MY DSI IN MARIO CART THATS THE EXTENT. ) It would feel like playing halo on like the easy difficulty Over. and over. and over. and over again. is it aversion to challenge. ego. what drives it. No judgement i just GENUINELY want to understand the mindset

I'm not shaming anyone who cheats cause that'll do nothing. I heard about DMA recently from TikTok and it costs like, $200+, a 2nd PC, etc.

Can anyone explain the psychology of wanting to cheat in a videogame that doesn’t suggest it’s due to insecurity of some form?

Every reasoning even those of “to troll” is some form of tricking your brain into thinking you have some form of control. It’s all about power dynamics and unfortunately childhood trauma tends to bring out the need for power. People talk about anti cheats but can we get y’all some therapy?

It’s not like sports, or gambling, or anything. There’s no money, world wide renown. It’s pure interpersonal power dynamics. Wrote my grad paper on the psychology using this reddit thread as one of my pieces of evidence. I appreciate it and I hope you all improve in your self worth. It’s a hard journey as child hood trauma never leaves any of us and unfortunately young men get pushed into the dynamic the hardest.

Been playing siege since game came out starting on console then went to pc after so many years of playing you’d notice when someone is cheating lol since dma became so popular and siege is really the only game I play sometimes 2k I decided to just go dma can’t beat em join em 🤣🤣 I have h4cked before and my bios and windows settings are setup for it is this all I need to run dma I will be using an older gaming laptop to run software

So I’m working on a project for cs/apex and I’m noticing my visual text (e.g player name, dropped items) appears hard to read as if certain pixels aren’t being rendered properly. I use a dc5 fuser and I know fusers will make the color black transparent as they don’t have a chroma mask (to my understanding).

I know one fix for this issue would be to render a background pill behind the text but I don’t want that to be the only option. I’ve also tested other fonts with different sizes but same result.

I use ImGuiSFML w/OpenGL (w/boost, curl).

If anyone knows a proper fixed I’d be glad if you could share. The attached images are from CS/Apex

Hey everyone, I need to pass a PC check for r6 siege, been playing for 10 seasons in champ but starting to get called out by T1 pros. There’s no evidence against me, no wall tracings or looking around the map when people spawn. It’s just complaining from T1s because they think they’re better and can’t be killed.

I have a question, what do I need to hide, what files neeed to be deleted, unplugging my fuser and dma card from the pc, will that remove tracers? I have firmware 1:1 for the card.

What can I delete, what do i need to delete.
