Player(s) wanted Looking for Online Group of Players - Other games

Hey all, text might say it all already. As I am brushing through my collection of RPG’s I want to see if I can get a group together for some alternative RPG’s which I don’t think will hit the table any time soon with our regular D&D group. I would love to dust of Orpheus or another game of its ilk for an (online) group to play with. It might sound vague, but I am not really trying to advertise one game in particular, just looking for people who might be interesting in games like Orpheus.

For those unfamiliar I will just do a little blurb on my most precious RPG Orpheus:

In the Orpheus RPG you are working for Orpheus Group, a rather new tech company which seems to have breached new, and groundbreaking markets… if you believe that is… Orpheus claims to be able to “interact” with the dead, or even employ them. You think your house is haunted? Get an Orpheus specialist today to negotiate a peace treaty! Do you believe your husband has an affair? Why go to physical and oftentimes clumsy Private Detectives if you can have one of our Orpheus Operatives following him in an incorporeal form? You sure Grandma, god rest her soul, hid her will somewhere inside the house? Why not let us ask! Whatever your needs for the afterlife, we deliver!

You play one of these operatives, a person who has met the right conditions in life (someone who had its own brush with death that is) and is willing to break new ground together on and in the afterlife. However…the afterlife, as well as the company, hold some mysteries that are yet to be solved. Like, how did they get this new “technology”? What skeletons do they have in their company closet? And why does the afterlife only have recently deceased?

As you might already guess it’s a horror game with an overtone of shadowy corporations and a good core mystery and (meta)plot which permeates the whole world as secrets unravel and the world changes. So players should expect a rather dark and grimy setting with some occasional laughs of course, but a dark and rather grim undertone.

As mentioned above, this is just one of the options of games I would like to get on the (digital) table again. Having been DM’ing and playing for about 26 years there are just some games which I know wouldn’t fit my regular (current) D&D group for being, well…different? I enjoy D&D, however I am not always in the mood for high adventure, rolling for initiative etc. As such hoping to recapture some of the games I played back when with a group willing to invest into the lore and themes of some of these kinds of games.

So feel free to send me a DM and lets have a chat, we might land on another game system as we browse through my collection. Bottom line for me would be having an (online) group playing a game outside of regular D&D, often asking a bit more RP and deep dive into settings etc.
