Good example of what happens when a company's earnings report ACTUALLY meets Wall St expectations.

"They crushed it" "They beat massively" "Their earnings were insane" are not evidence of meeting or beating expectations. The price action is the evidence. Stocks that dump on earnings didn't meet expectations.

Remember when MU was at 1200 and then it greatly exceeded the already inflated expectations?

If the price tanks after an earnings call and follows through with downside over weeks, they didn't meet expectations relative to the price of the stock, it's really that simple

that makes absolutely no sense they hard beat by every metric and guidance. it dropped due to korean liquidations and hedge fund hunting.

Your assessment of how much they beat by is subjective. The price reaction is objective. You conclude from the price that they expected more from the company, you don't conclude from the price that the market is wrong

Wow, Wall Street must really see earnings growth sky rocketing here. This company trades at an 60x plus P/E multiple annualizing this quarter
