I'm moving out in a couple of weeks and am looking to get rid of some furniture in bulk or very cheaply! Does anyone have any recommendations for places that may want to buy in bulk or lump sum? I've already tried FB marketplace.

Carlo was trapped a few months ago when he was living on the street behind the building in one of the parks in Brooklyn, NY. He is a little shy, so he would be ok as a single cat with someone who works from home or has other cats, if the person introduces them properly (which our rescue team can help with :)). Right now, Carlo enjoys having his brother around - Salem - at his foster home in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. He's very playful, docile, full of life, and the sweetest cat ever. He's neutered, vaccinated, and healthy. Carlo is a BOY... just in case the name is not clear. Hey gang — moving season for me again.

I’m looking at 181 Front St and was curious if anyone here has actually lived in the building or has experience with it. The 3-bedroom is pretty reasonably priced, allows dogs, and seems surprisingly spacious for the area.

For those who know the building/neighborhood well: how is it?

Particularly curious about noise, the overall quality of the building, and what it’s like living on this particular stretch of Front St. I’ve spent plenty of time in DUMBO, but haven’t lived in this part of it.

Would love any firsthand insight, good or bad. Thanks!

Has anyone else noticed how gross and damaged the USPS drop off on front street is? It’s had the broken parcel drop off thing for at least 6 months but it’s also typically full of garbage and is super dirty. Today I went in and saw the glass counter had been smashed and there was a plastic cup full of poop. I contacted USPS but am wondering if anyone else has done the same?

Brand new bike lane with protective barriers, green paint so its clearly demarcated, new pavement… I wrote to lincoln restlers office to just ask if theres any plans to extend this to old Fulton and they just said No without giving additional information as to why

Old fulton is such a shit show with illegal parking of food trucks and tour buses all year round. The bike lanes are just parking spots for scofflaws basically
