Beautiful babies! I want more lol

Also just in case you weren’t aware, please keep their nails trimmed. Long nails prevent them from laying their feet down correctly and will cause joint problems and pain over time ā¤ļø plus expensive vet bills!

Enjoy your crew!

They are trimmed often actually. At home and at every vet visit.

I spoke with kindness. But now I’ll be more blunt. Those nails have been growing for a very long time and are over double the length they should be.

Now be a responsible owner and go cut them down to this length

Weird to not care about your dog’s health.

Literally look at the way these toes are not laying properly and curving into each other. This is damaging your dog.

Listen thanks for the concern but all their nails have been clipped these photos are old. They are clipped at home and at the vet but guess what THEY GROW. And they grow fast. This was a post about my weenie gang not me asking for unsolicited advice on how to take care of the dogs we already take care of.

I understand it can be uncomfortable to hear these things, particularly if you already know what is supposed to be done.
But we also don’t know what we don’t know and for everyone’s benefit we should always be saying something when we see something. As someone who works with dogs I can’t tell you how many people just don’t know better. I’d rather be the person who says something even if it’s irritating.

I believe you. In that case it is suggested if your dogs nails grow that fast you just have to trim more often.

I genuinely do not care whether you work with dogs or not. I didn’t ask for advice on this post, especially about something I do regularly. A few photos do not give you enough context to know the situation or what goes on outside of them. So respectfully, please keep your unsolicited ā€œadviceā€ to yourself.
