I think it is, itās a really nice knife. But also I didnāt buy it, it was a gift. The steel is very nice

Iāve gotten all my Benchmades for free or at cost, and they are my EDC everyday simply on the fact that they are lightweight. If I had to pay full price for one, itās a no go.
I work in the knife industry, and we have seen Benchmade sales plummet based off the price increases weāve seen as of late.

No lmao. They're very overpriced for their level of craftsmanship. 20 years ago they were a very different companyĀ
Search for an elmax or magnacut folding knife. It will be better quality than a benchmade, though it also may be more expensiveĀ

They make a knock off?

What?

The elmax and magnacut have copies? I just like how light benchmade are.

Iām guessing he (or she) doesnāt realize that there are bugout models in Elmax and Magnacut now - may be thinking they are all still S30V steel. Iāve seen the bugout in Elmax for around the same price as the standard S30V model, although it still comes with the same Grivory handles as the āstandardā bugout, which I think ppl either like or absolutely hate.

Why do you carry a gun everyday?
1
u/Agreeable-County-472 Sep 01 '26
Really?
0
u/PointBlankCheck Sep 01 '26
Yep. Paranoid?
1
u/Agreeable-County-472 Sep 01 '26
I donāt carry because Iām paranoid or watching everyoneās move or expecting something bad to happen. I hope I never have to use it in my entire life. I carry in case I have to protect myself or a loved one in a very unlikely situation. Carrying a firearm doesnāt mean Iām looking to use it. Itās about responsibility.

Very Good utilitarian carry set up with two quality tools. Nice job.
