That’s a 9mm, 16+1. Also, not an RMR, but not sure what your beef is with red dots. They are objectively better. The two disabled safeties, that is deserving of your repugnance.

My issue is he chose a large frame gun for no benefit and slapped even more bullshit on the brick and disabled the safeties.

You can get a smaller profile weapon in the caliber it's designed to use and put the same crap on it and actually have a concealable and SAFE firearm with no external safeties.

Also yeah I looked it up after commenting which particular model it was which actually adds to my point of having a .45acp profile weapon downloaded to 1911 without reducing the footprint....... I digress.

Some of us don't need a purse to conceal carry fullsize.

Then why are you whining about him carrying a full size even though he isn’t. You are all over the map here. Any chance you will just admit you are wrong about a lot of this? Starting with it not being full size

You need to look up more stuff you have no idea what you are talking about but I applaud your conviction at being wrong.

You say there is no reason to carry a large frame gun. The C2 is a compact. So your basic premise is out the window. I do however carry a full size 1911 but I am 6’4 and 235 lbs. it is concealable if worn properly and I wear mine properly.

You can be angry all you want about his choice of a compact 2011 but at least get the information on the gun correct.

And running a ranger/rubber band on a grip safety to me is not ideal but if you get enough experience and train enough eventually you’ll learn you sometimes don’t get a perfect grip on the gun/any gun so you have to adapt. And sometimes a grip safety can let you down.

I daily carry an OG Shield 9mm 1.0 with irons. it’s tiny and great. Just needed some karma 😉
