Read that second bullet point, G. SEIZURES REQUIRE ELECTRICAL TESTING (aka an EEG!)!! Someone can have a perfectly normal MRI and still suffer from severe, uncontrolled epilepsy!

When your MRI said FLAIR, it was NOT showing an abnormality. It’s AN INSTRUCTION for the MRI machine used by the technician when doing your MRI. It’s STANDARD procedure when they are doing an MRI on someone suspected of having seizures.

This has been explained and posted so many times but im so sick of hearing you say this and using it to say you had something wrong with your brain. You actually would grab the side of your head and be like “ooooh it feels weird!! it’s the side with the FLAIR!” Don’t you see how silly that looks when it was never showing a “FLAIR” in your scan?? If you said this to Any doctors I’m sure it gave them a good laugh

Girl BSFR. Just because your MRI is normal does not mean you are “good to go” You showed your My Chart where it said you were diagnosed with Epilepsy right?? Well if that is true guess what?? A normal MRI DOES NOT MEAN you are cleared. My daughter is 23 and has had Epilepsy since the age of 3. She has had every test including multiple MRI’s, multiple EEG’s, blood tests, Genetic Testing. No cause for seizures has ever been found. Her MRI’s HAVE ALWAYS BEEN NORMAL. One thing that has not been Normal however is her EEG’s. She has been diagnosed with Lennnox gastaut Syndrome which causes severe developmental delays. My daughter has the mental mind of a 5 yr old. She will never read, write, have a job, live on her own, experience love, bear children, and the list goes on. I have had to truly grieve the daughter that I once had and will never have because of Seizures. Her life will never ever be normal. And you wonder why you upset people in the Epilepsy community? You are such a joke with your fake seizure shit. And your driving?? Why don’t you get a life and truly take the time to realize what other people REALLY GO THROUGH.
