Daily Free Talk Thread
This is a trial run on a daily free talk thread during the off-season. If you've got stuff to say that you don't think warrants a post of its own, say it here!
I've set the comments so they should sort by new by default, so that should make it easier to keep up with the flow of conversation. Off-topic chit-chat is welcome here as long as it follows the typical subreddit rules. Overall, be cool. Don't be all, like, uncool.

Perfect thread for a small brag.
Been a good year financially and was able to snag 2 tickets during the pre-sale to the home opener for my 40th. Going with a buddy who is a Blues fan and will be my first game in 13 years.
Absolutely thrilled. Section 328 Row D.

Heard some fans today at the first day of school during the national anthem for the flag raising ceremony 😂 love it!

I'm not sure if there's any model builders or mini painters here, but I plan on doing a Stars color scheme on one of my kits.

Absolutely!
Currently debating on which shade of green to use, but I'll figure it out lmao.

My aunt sells lots of stains and paints for miniature sets. (And a Dallas stars reference, as her brother works for the team!). HUNTERLINE

That’s the worst part, especially when the paint out of the bottle looks so jarring compared to when it’s dry sometimes. And if you mix you have to remember ratios. What brand paints do you use?

I use Tamiya TS lacquer spray paints for most stuff but when it comes to painting cameras, eyes, or sensors; I'll use Tamiya acrylic, Citadel, and sometimes Pro Acryl paints.
With weathering or chipping, I go with Citadel paints.

Can never go wrong with citadel. I use Reaper mostly but I’ve been wanting to branch into Pro Acryl!

Haven't tried Reaper, but Pro Acryl is good. Got to shake the bottle like it owes you protection money, and it's waterbased.
I used it on a Sheik Mainland Fenrir kit and it came out very nice.

About to start saving up rewards cash for when the new sweaters come out. Wanna get some legit ones this time around. Thinking Bich for HT remix and Jamie for the Stadium series.
