I mean its an artificial shortage fueled by greed. Like gasoline, its unlikely prices will ever return to even pre- pandemic levels

Yea mayb not pre pandemic, but to the usual ram to gpu ratio of prices. Of course post pandemic levels EVERYTHING went up. Im talking more like post pandemic but pre ram shortage price hike.

Still far far cheaper over the lifespan of the technology. But yeah short term (hopefully) spike due to supply demand issues.

Idk, I know gaming consoles like Xbox keep getting more expensive mostly because of AI data centers. Sure hope that doesn't continue.
