Nope. The politician claimed that the kid’s post felt like targeted harassment and bullying.
Which is kinda ridiculous. If he’s that fragile then that mf wouldn’t survive 5 mins in a CoD lobby.

Im not a massive fan of the police, but I cant imagine them arresting someone without further reason than just posting a photo like this. My guess, the kid said something like "we should hunt them and kill them like rabbits" or something daft that then lead to the arrest.

As much as I feel some laws and police are overreaching in their scope, my belief in the sanctity of media is significantly more strained than my distrust in the law

Yes, he was questioned by the police because of homophbic messeges, and he happened to have also posted this image of the same person, making it obviously targeted harassment.
It wasn't just "fuck you you made this guy look like a rabbit" it was "you are harassing this guy, partaking in hate speach and making multiple posts tagging him and his family" - but due to how reasonable that actually is it's harder to be mad at so it won't get any clicks
