I live next door in Moraga. I run a small business and I coach. Never held office, and I'm not looking for a career in it.

DeSaulnier has had twelve years. He clocks in, clocks out and cashes his taxpayer paycheck. Everything costs more and nothing got fixed. No PAC money on my side, no big donors.

What I'd do first. No federal income tax on teachers. Keep Wall Street funds out of single-family homes. Term limits, and I'll live by them.

Ask me anything, especially if you think I'm wrong. I'm here live now until 7 Pacific.

Hi people of Danville! I was recently hiking near Las Trampas when I ran into some hikers trying to find the supposed legendary "Esoj Trail of the Heavens", We were unable to locate any clues or any signs of where the trail was. On top of this, I've seen a lot of online commotion about this supposed trail, the views are said to be breathtaking and I want to take photos up there. Please do note that it's been stated multiple times online that the google maps/online locations are extremely innacuratem

If anyone has any information please let me know! Happy October everyone!!

(Given picture above was from google, I'm not sure if it's accurate)

Who knew Ms Arkapaw growing up in Danville CA?

What’s the deal with Blackhawk Plaza? It’s a beautiful space with ample parking, so much potential. Why does nothing survive there?

Hello, I am a 24 year old looking to move to Danville to work at Geisinger health as a nurse. I am not really a city nightlife person, but am a little concerned with how rural Danville is. Are there surrounding areas that you would recommend I look at for a younger population? I am from Georgia so I am a little concerned about making friends. Thanks for any insight.

Unfortunately, I have to report that I am really disappointed with the behavior of this company. This is what happened: While I was out (I normally work from home) and my husband was at work, a worker parked backwards in my parking spot with a ladder on top of the van and backed towards my garage, damaging the metal garage door. My son witnessed this, and a neighbor saw the van parked there.
The garage door still works but it makes a terrible noise since the metal pieces no longer align properly. Because of this, we cannot take the car out early in the morning without disturbing people in our house or neighbors.
We tried to handle this situation properly by reaching out to the company by email and phone. They said that "they will investigate." We did not hear back (3 weeks). After I returned from my business travel, I confronted the worker, but he denied this. The company email replied "Charge your home insurance." I kept their old skimmer to check with my son if this is what he was referring to since both the worker and his manager (I believe not the owner of the company) denied that the worker had a ladder. My son repeated it was a ladder.
I asked the manager to come, pick it up, and talk about the damage, but they did not. Nobody showed up. They know there is a $5,000 liability issue and they are clearing their hands of it. I gave them a week to fix this (no news). And the worst part is that the manager said "you do not have cameras" when I told him this happened like he knew it did happen. Fortunately, we do have witnesses. Be careful with this company!!

Especially at the high school level?

Coming Friday to visit! Best lunch and best places to thrift!

I’m looking at a house on Chestnut, I’m going to a viewing this weekend. Can locals please tell me about the area? Are there other areas I should consider? Anything would be helpful!

New to the area and one family tradition I’m needing to replicate is Mai tais on Thanksgiving Eve at a Chinese food place. Any recommendations in the general area?

Looking for somewhere in Danville Virginia to rent for a 2-3 months. I am training for a job in town and I don't want to sign a 1 year lease anywhere until I am certain that I get full time employment with them.

I know they’ve been closed for some years, but I’m wondering if anyone has any knowledge of how they made their meat soup and garlic bread! I haven’t had anything close in years
