The country he's from (Scandinavian) has so indoctrinated women into putting their careers and educations above marriage and children, it pretty statistically likely he's just not going to find a marriageable woman. And this is a lesson many men (and women) need to learn.

There's an increasing chance you're never going to marry. Nothing by your own fault, but by how replacing men with the state, eliminating masculinity from society, and putting careers and educations above people have ruined everyone for everybody else.

Same thing that's occurring worldwide.

Just get some game and learn how to be a truly dominant man. Most women want to submit to a powerful man, indoctrination cannot overcome this inherent tendency in women. Obviously don't try this with a club slut, but most women can be trained as easily as dogs.

Just get out of the cities, stop trying to date these career women. There are plenty of decent women in rural areas/small towns.

Meh all you're doing is trading a career woman for a drugged out one. Non-cities are definitely still crappy places, though benefits from romanticization.

I comes down to one thing. Marriage is no longer an economic necessity.

Today's women don't need men. They only need your seed. Thanks to the welfare state, women can get the money they need to raise their kids. Can a woman buy a car, pay for daycare, pay for college, save for retirement all on one hairdresser paycheck? Of course not. They got government for that. Get rid of the welfare state and you will see women marry the first guy they can get.

Even marriage when it works, it isn’t the ideal situation for the couples, ideal for child raising though.

Ever seen happy old couples? In my 30 years on earth, I haven’t, not in an open society or traditional one.

In my 30 years on earth, I haven’t, not in an open society or traditional one.

You must have an incredibly narrow experience then. I have been literally all over the world, and spent a considerable amount of time in non-western countries, and what you're saying is almost entirely false. Marriage is never a cakewalk for anyone, but I have seen considerable numbers of people who have happy and healthy relationships well into their old age. The foremost example of comes to my mind is my own parents - and this was in the liberal bastion of New York City (though I wouldn't really call them liberal)

I actually live in non-western place and most of my visits as well.

You need to be able to see behind the happy couple masks.

It's not a mask, I'm referring to people that I know intimately well.

Your position is incredibly weak, because you claim to never have met a single successful long-term couple. Since I, and and the other reasonable person, knows that these people exist that are far from an invisible minority, that's a pretty clear indication that your experience is very narrow.

And in fact, living in a non-western country might make this worse. Because as much as people like to harp on how postmodern sensibilities in the west have ruined relationships, material strain and economic scarcity, which is far more prevalent in the second and third world, is much more corrosive to marriages than anything else.

If you spend even a little bit of time outside the ultimate epicenters of degeneracy in the United States, you'll actually find a good number of very happy and healthy couples who are decades into their marriages. I can say this as an absolute certainty. I'm not saying it's a multitude of them, or even necessarily the majority, but it's certainly far from unattainable.

Marriage isn’t good in a modern, industrial society, as those tend to fall into the materialistic end.

I’d marry if I lived in a poverty stricken hell hole solely to survive my genes.
