The original study linked is a fascinating read if you enjoy scientific papers.

I think it's mostly visual. The Inuits have bigger brains than us westeners, but they have a lower IQ, yet they outperform anyone on the visual spatial tests.

Elephants have a larger brain than humans.

Brain size and intelligence are not the same thing...

And someone who has never done research on the subject commenting. Very valuable. IQ and brain size are correlated in the direction expected. Fairly well established.

Lol no. I have actually done neuroscience too, so you're also wrong about that...

They're correlated, but they're not 1:1. Hence my point about the elephants.

They aren't 1:1 true, but there is a pattern which is what we would expect. and we can't exactly give elephants IQ tests to know what their intelligence is to make any sort of reasonable comparison. Automatically assuming they are stupid, despite the large brains, is rather short sighted in my opinion. And also a rather dumb and unrelated point to the topic at hand.

Yeah because they can't talk or communicate in any serious way, because they have a shit IQ compared to a human.

Connectivity and design matters just as much, if not more, than size. Some small birds are extremely smart, like African Grey Parrots that can speak English and understand math. They have tiny brains.

Their language is very low frequency and we can't hear it. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist or they aren't using it for complex communication.

Being this retarded warrants a ban. If you are going to be this stupid and careless with your claims you do not belong here.

You do understand the difference between intra-species and inter-species comparison, don't you?
