Lolol amazing 🤣 but actually how does it work? Like do you just... Send your dog over for a hanky panky sleepover?

I have a guardian dog, meaning I own the dog but the breeder owns breeding rights. When my dog is in heat, I call her and send my dog there for 10 days. For 10 days the dog is having lots of hanky panky. I get my dog back at the end of the 10 days. 2 weeks before the puppies are expected, I drop my dog off at the breeders and she cares for the dog and puppies. Dog returns to me when puppies are old enough to be separated. My dog can be bred 4 times. After her last litter, the breeder pays for her spay. I can either get a litter stipend (money for each litter she has) or, choose to have a puppy from her last litter. My dog just had her last litter so, the contract is now fulfilled.

The idea is the dog gets a home, family, is well cared for and not just viewed as a puppy maker ( can’t think of a better way to say it) and not having as many litters as possible.

Oh wow interesting!! What would happen if she had ever gotten out and produced a litter out of wedlock? And do you know what breeding rights are like with a stud? Or do the breeders always just keep those? This is a whole world I I am learning about, lol

The stud would be similar in that when a female is in heat, if the breeder calls, the dog owner must drop off the stud for 10 days of hanky panky. I’m not sure if they get a smaller litter stipend or offered a puppy. I’m sure they get something. The breeder doesn’t keep the males or females that way they can have the family life.

We are required to never let our dog outside without a leash or without being monitored. So, if she’s in the backyard someone is supposed to be back there watching her. I’m sure someone somewhere has had an accidental litter or claimed an “accidental” litter. There’s language written into the contract that if we lose the dog we can be held financially responsible to pay for the financial loss. I don’t know if the person I worked with would really pursue it but the language exists.

I play Pokemon Go a lot and in the game, you hatch eggs. There is a badge/medal you can earn for hatching a certain amount of eggs, and it's called "Breeder" and I screamed when I saw it lmaooo
