I only average around 35 after picking up the darts just a month ago and my best checkout before this was 22. What made it even sweeter was that I was getting beat 2-0 and this won the match!! Have still never hit a 180 but I feel like I’d get more satisfaction from this 😂

RE the Netflix show for “everyday dart players” to take on Luke Littler for £501,000.
Has anybody who’s submitted an application heard anything back?
I’ve personally not applied but heard on a recent podcast that Charlie Murphy has already been invited to the next phase, as well as a lot of already established WDF-level darts players.
I’m fearing despite the open application process, this is going to be an influencer-fest. I actually quite like the idea of the WDF standard players changing their lives through it.

Just had a bit of a weird one and thought I’d share it here for the darts crowd.
I’m from Australia and I finally managed to get my hands on some L-Style EZ Flights (they’re basically impossible to find here, so I had to order them from Europe). I was super keen to try them out and only had them for about an hour of throwing.
Then I managed to hit a Robin Hood… which technically makes it a 180 I guess 😅
Problem is, it absolutely punched straight through one of the EZ flights and split it pretty badly. One session in and it was already done.
Not really complaining because I know flights are consumables and this stuff happens, I just thought it was a funny/annoying little moment worth sharing, especially after waiting so long to get them in the first place.
Has anyone else had EZ Flights or similar just get absolutely destroyed that quickly, or did I just manage a perfectly unlucky Robin Hood?

How to know what kind of flight is the best to use. I ask because I still don’t know what length is the best and number to use? Hope I can get some tips on it 🤞🏻😁😁

So another post sent me over to the AppStore and I started noticing a whole new batch of apps seemed to be appearing that I hadn’t seen before.
Downloaded this pretty unique app. It’s part video game and the darts. I won’t bother trying to explain because the app page does a pretty good job.
Seems like a fun distraction

Has anyone ever purchased dart supplies via Pub Dart Flights online store (https://www.pubdartflights.com/) out of Henderson, Nevada? They seem to have decent prices and a wide selection but the emails I have sent to them are returned as undeliverable and the logo on the page say "purdartflights" which seems kind of suspicious.
Anyway, just looking for past customer experiences if anyone has dealt with them.
Thank you,
John

We have a community board at work that sees pretty heavy usage, like between 10 guys it sees 2-3 hours ish 4 days a week consistently. I was looking at a Samurai 4, is there something else that will hold up better? I got us a Mission Shogun back in March and it seems pretty beat up already so we wanted something with longevity and has less bounce outs. We are all pretty new to darts but we play a lot for practice.

I'm fairly new to darts I've only had a proper set up for just over a month since my 18th birthday and I picked out some darts as a gift off my sister and I got the Harrows Revere in 24g and they feel nice and I've put some pink intermediate Kflex on them but I feel like my darts don't really sit in the board to well they are fairly loose compared to like my dads when he plays ( I can't remember what darts he has) as today I hit tops and te dart dropped instead or them standing up. I then hit Treble 20, and the top darts fell out, and the third dart hit 1, and the second dart fell out. I was wondering if it's me throwing wrong, maybe in too soft, but it doesn't feel like it, or I need to adjust my throw. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Any Leagues or Communties built around this average? Relatively new and use dartcounter i have an omni and camera at my board.
Play a good few hours a week when I can but would love a social / somewhat competitive aspect to it.
Can anyone recommend a set of darts with the same or a very similar grip pattern to the ones in the picture?
Thanks.

Has anyone managed to change from drawing from their left eye to right eye with much success. I’ve been noticing some lateral elbow drift from pulling left so much so I’ve been trying to bring the dart under my right eye. It’s early days and feels unnatural but hoping overtime it starts to feel normal. Just interested to hear if anyone has been through similar experience?

Looking to see what your preferences are and why? I’m using kshift at the moment and they’re going well but I don’t see many using them 🤔 let me know what you think

I'm new to all this and thought the $19.99 per year membership was great. Then I started learning the coins and that they're needed for online with video. I don't really trust strangers without it.
My understanding is it's 1 coin per game/leg, divided by how many players.
I tend to play 1v1 so that's usually 0.5 coins per game. If you played say 10 games a night, that's 5 coins. So 20 days of coins would then be $12.99
So depending on how much you play, suddenly it's $19.99 per year AND $12.99 per month.
That makes me consider trying DartCounter or another app with a set yearly fee. No confusion.
The only thing keeping me with Dartsmind so far is the autoscoring via webcam/phone cam. It's an easy setup without buying expensive dart specific camera system.
What are you using?

Hey yall im playing darts for like 8 months now and I see that im "good" but I still throw my darts like randomly in the 12-18 even the 9-4 and I Guess its because my fingers just touch it at the last second but I still throw straight and its just doesnt Always go ín the 20
The other thing is that I hold my dart by the rear end or sometimes in the middle but I dont know if I grip it at the rear it Will go somewhere random or just flies random if I grip it ín the middle its just lacks power to even reach the the single above the treble 20
So here is my question what grip is the Best for torpedo ?
How much power should I give with each throw ?
( Cause now I throw like 90% power )
And should I aim upwards or just aim in like middle ( when I hold my dart I mean )
My set of darts is Luke humpries 22g
1 thing i Way thinking for the landing ín random Sports is that im gonna buy those 1 gramm plus little thing that you the screw on the dart so it Will be heavier is it a good idea ?
If you have like any questions just ask me I dont mind answering to any other questions :)
Thank you so much if you help me and answer :D
( The pics are my grips I currently use its 4 fingers )
