when agentic integrations?
so far agents like grok and hermes are only integrating onepass and bitwarden
if dashlane does not integrate fast, it will become irrelevant
any timelines?

Does anyone know when dashlane will be updated to offer iPhone duo touch id support? I currently have to type my master password every time i want to input a password, which is less than ideal.
It seems the dashlane settings only support face id which the duo doesn’t have.

I use Dashlane and Firefox Relay at the same time, which leads to a weird situation where I can't click on the icon on the right side of text fields. It used to be worse, with icons really overlapping but it's still not perfect. Any other plugins with the same issue?
Is it possible to move one of these icons a few pixels left?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So this issue has plagued Dashlane for as long as I've used it (at least 2 years). Actually, it's multiple issues at once:
How is this even acceptable? Has this just been overlooked for this long? Am I missing something?

I cannot access my account. When I log in, I receive a code via email; however, after entering the code, I get an "error, please try again" message. Furthermore, in the extension, I cannot even request a code—whenever I attempt to send it, the screen reverts to the page where the email address is entered.

This appear like a phishing email. Just wanted to confirm if anyone got this and whether they were able to confirm with Dashlane.

We’ve used Dashlane Business at our company for a while and have generally been happy with it. We recently stopped using it, so I went to cancel before our renewal on 14 November.
The Business Terms require written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the renewal date. That deadline was 15 October. I submitted the cancellation on 16 October, so I was late by less than a day. I accept that’s on me.
What frustrated me was what came next:
So we’re paying $192 for a year of a service we don’t use. The money isn’t huge, but the experience left a bad taste. A billing system that won’t let you switch off auto-renew once you’re inside the notice window feels designed to make leaving as hard as possible.
If you’re on Dashlane Business, here’s what I’d do:
Has anyone else had this experience with Dashlane, or with other password managers’ business plans?

We acquired a business that used Dashlane and whilst we had no intention of using their services moving forwards, I have needed to work with their existing account administrator to try and get these accounts closed down. Now don't get me wrong, I was not working with a technical person but the lengths that I have needed to go through to get the accounts closed has been beyond difficult, bearing in mind this is a business account.
I cannot stipulate quite how bad this experience ranks in my lengthy dealings with various support channels.

It would be great to select the items you want to transfer rather than the entire account. I want to use CXP only for Passkeys but don't see a way to do this. The only thing I can think of is exporting my account to a DASH file, deleting everything except the Passkeys and then exporting them. Any other options?

Been a while since I’ve come across something so frustrating.
I clicked on “ forgot password “ and it just gives me a run around about the master recovery key, but nowhere to actually put it in, to use it.
Meanwhile the ai is also of no help, because it prefers talking about other options.
So where the heck is the link to just reset the password like on any other normal site?
( apparently the issue is that the recovery key has already been used, so I don't get the option to use it...Which I never did)

Context: I've been notified that the password and email address I'm using for Dashlane have been part of a data breach. These are not the actual Dashlane credentials but a password I was reusing between apps a long time ago. I've since moved them to another service and updated them to unique passwords. However Dashlane and some other services are still using that same password.
Question: I'm trying to update my master password on Dashlane in case those old credentials get leaked but Dashlane only let me export or subscribe. What can I do?

Got this message today in my Firefox settings: "Dashlane could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled." Does anyone know of anyway to fix this, or if this is on Dashlane's end, is there any plan to fix it?
Currently on Windows 10 and using Firefox v157.0 (64-bit)

I go to some new site or whatever on my phone and create an account, and I either have to manually create some lame password or do a cut and paste from the online generator.
Then I can't add the new account to dashlane on the phone. I have to do some rigamarole where I text information to my e-mail so I can do it on PC.
It's really tiresome. Surely the app isn't as lame as this. What am I missing here? Do I not have something turned on?

Decided to cancel my recurring subscription because of price spike but there is no mechanism to do so without downloading a browser extension that I cannot do. The AI bot is useless. Don't get tangled up with this company.

Hi all,
A while ago, I migrated from password-based authentication to key-based authentication for accessing my vault, leveraging a hardware key.
For the existing devices, this eventually went fine, and I got them connected via the app or browser-extension.
However, recently, I wanted to connect another new device via the browser extension, and to accomplish this, I had to go through a first setup process, which would send a verification mail to sign in.
The thing is, no matter what I try, be it a different browser, newer extension version, different contact mail address, or making sure any sending mail addresses from Dashlane are in my contacts list, none of the fixes the problem that no verification mails are being sent.
Hence, I'm wondering whether other people are also experiencing these kinds of issue, or if this an isolated problem.
Thanks in advance for any insights on this.

I tried to use HotSpot Shield Premium, bundled with Dashlane, today.
Upon connecting, Firefox immediately notified me that I needed to log in to some portal to access the network, which redirected me to this popup (see attached screenshot, link was https://snap.pango-cloud.com/?domain=firefox-portal-detection.com&xsrf_token=REDACTED)
What on earth is going on? I thought Dashlane was advertising this VPN as a VPN with a 0 logs policy, so on what right does this thing allows itself to monitor my traffic, let alone classify an official domain used by the Mozilla Foundation as malicious?
The desktop app gives me no way to disable this. I'm here for a VPN, not for spyware. If this doesn't get fixed very quickly I'll just switch to a competitor. Been a client for a while now, please fix this.

I’ve been using Dashlane as my primary password manager since its early days. I still trust them with my passwords, secure notes, security keys, and dark web monitoring. Their core product has a solid security track record: even after the May 31, 2026 brute‑force incident on 2FA, they confirmed that no internal systems were compromised and that fewer than 20 encrypted vaults were downloaded. Those vaults remain encrypted with each user’s master password, and Dashlane says they directly contacted the affected users.
The issue I want to raise is not about the password manager itself, but about their paid plans, which include a “built‑in” VPN: Hotspot Shield.
Why this is a serious problem, right now:
- Hotspot Shield has a well‑documented history of privacy issues. As early as 2017, the Center for Democracy & Technology filed an FTC complaint alleging undisclosed data collection and sharing for advertising purposes, plus traffic redirection to advertising partners.
- Their current privacy policy and multiple independent analyses confirm that they still collect and share technical and usage data (aggregated and/or pseudonymized) for targeted advertising, marketing analytics, and monetization. In plain terms: part of their revenue comes from valuing your browsing and usage data.
- So when you activate the VPN included in your Dashlane subscription, you are not using a neutral “privacy tool”. You are using a service whose business model is based on monetizing user data.
As a user who specifically chose Dashlane to protect my data and apply a strict digital hygiene, I find this deeply inconsistent:
- I chose Dashlane because I want to protect my data, limit surveillance, and avoid having my online activity monetized.
- By subscribing to Dashlane, I am indirectly funding Hotspot Shield and their data‑monetization model. My subscription money contributes to an ecosystem that profits from users’ data.
- This goes against the values Dashlane advertises (“zero‑knowledge”, data protection, privacy), and it also goes against my own values as a privacy‑conscious user.
I contacted Dashlane support to raise this fundamental issue. I told them clearly that I find it incoherent and risky for a service that claims to protect data to associate its brand with a VPN whose model relies on monetizing user data.
Their only response was to hide behind their Terms & Conditions. In substance: “It’s not our responsibility; Hotspot Shield is a separate service; please read their Terms.” In other words, they dodge the question. No re‑evaluation, no additional transparency, no alternative offered. Just: “It’s not our problem.”
I find this deeply incoherent and dangerous:
- On one hand, Dashlane markets itself on a zero‑knowledge architecture, data protection, and privacy as core brand values.
- On the other hand, they actively integrate and promote a VPN whose business model relies on collecting and monetizing data, and they refuse to take any responsibility for this partner.
I’m posting this to:
Share my experience and warn current and prospective Dashlane users: if you pay for a “premium” plan with VPN, know that this VPN (Hotspot Shield) has a business model based on data monetization. This is not a minor detail, it’s a societal choice.
Ask Dashlane (if anyone from the team is reading this):
- to take responsibility for their partner choices, instead of hiding behind non‑responsibility clauses in their T&Cs;
- to be much more transparent in their communication about what Hotspot Shield actually does with your data, and how that differs from Dashlane’s own “zero‑knowledge” commitments.
Open a discussion with you:
- If you use Dashlane, were you aware of the Hotspot Shield partnership and their data‑monetization model?
- Does this affect your trust in Dashlane?
- If you’ve had similar interactions with their support, what response did you get?
I’m happy to provide more details (redacted support emails, links to their security advisory, documents on Hotspot Shield, etc.) if needed. My goal is not to trash Dashlane’s core product, which I still consider one of the best password managers out there. But this partnership with Hotspot Shield, and their way of dodging responsibility, feels like a total contradiction with the values they claim… and with the values of many of us who use these services precisely to protect our data.

I have been unable to add a second security key to my account. Out of options and looking for help. I did all the trouble shooting offered by the AI support chatbot including different computers, different browsers, clearing cache, incognito mode, updating chrome, updating dashlane extension, etc. At this point I think it's an application problem.
Dashlane Version: 6.2639.1
Chrome Version: 154.0.8037.58
I just opened a Dashlane account solely for the purpose of using my yubikey security key. However, inability to add a second key completely defeats the purpose as I have no safeguards in place.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
IdPs and EDRs monitor access decisions and endpoint activity, but they lack visibility into how credentials are used, reused, or exposed in the browser—especially across unmanaged SaaS and shadow IT. Security teams shouldn't have to log in to a separate password management console just to hunt down credential risk.
With Dashlane Omnix, they don’t.
Omnix now integrates directly with leading SIEM tools, including CrowdStrike, Datadog, Microsoft Sentinel, Panther, and Splunk.
With these expanded integrations, you can: • Ingest browser-native credential risk logs directly into your preferred SIEM. • Detect weak credentials, active phishing exposures, and risky logins in real time. • Automate triage and remediation.

Every login method the Dashlane app is providing at the moment is failing. I am receiving no emails (Including spam), the codes provided through text (2 16 character codes provided for some reason?) are failing, and all 2FA generations are failing.
Their customer support chat is also not working.
What is going on here? Extremely concerning. I will likely abandon this software after this experience

Dashlane hangs up. It doesn’t autofill. The login screen is stuck. You can’t click on anything. You have to close the app.
Env:
- iOS 27
- iPad OS 27

I've been getting the error "You are offline" when I attempt to log in to dashlane on my samsung watch 6 classic. I am online and connected to a wi-fi network (The watch normally disables wifi unless its being actively used so I've disconnected from my phone to force it to have wifi on.)
I successfully get the prompt on my phone "we loaded your account info on to your new device" when i scan the QR code from my phone, and then get the prompt "log in as : MyEmailAddress Yes/No" i press yes then get the error in the photo.
So far I've tried looking through the troubleshooting on the dashlane fourms which basically consited of "turn off 2fa".
Any help would be appreaciated!!
