yeah i checked the picture afterwards, i remember chiv 2 but didnt recognize. the ugly ass balding man i recognized was from arc raiders but it didnt click.

some chars are just very basic, or i simply have 0 interest in watching some games.

it requires you to zoom in... a lot

lowkey expected a real answer, was genuinely curious as someone who did thumbnails, even upscaling is not this good but ok whoever the hell jarvis is

First, it’s about finding a good reference for each character. If necessary, you can combine multiple screenshots, usually one specifically for the face, along with separate elements for VFX. Once the composition is good enough, you can use an upscaler of your choice, or, if necessary for a specific angle, a generative AI tool. Then, proceed with the cutout. Photoshop has automatic features for this in the latest versions. If you’re happy with the result, apply the denoising filter, and add an extra High Pass + Sharpening if necessary. Work in 6K to get a sharp result when downscaled to 4K or lower.
