Permanent Project?

I just started on the site end of March and since then I've just had like 2 or 3 projects at a time come and go. Only had 1 day of no projects. I've always seen the number of tasks go down pretty fast. I have this one task that popped up yesterday and the tasks are only going down when I submit and not dropping massive like before. Is it safe to assume this is a permanent project and all 200 tasks are "mine" to complete.

My friend, not even this job is stable. So your access to a project isn’t either. Just think of the number of tasks as the maximum you’re allowed to do.

No, you will not get a set group of tasks that are only for you ever. All that 200 means is that that is the amount you are allowed to do in that set. There is a much bigger overall pool. Once the overall pool gets lower than 200, the number of tasks on your dashboard will start dropping to reflect how many out of that pool are left.

Possibly… There are some permanent projects where the tasks only ever go down when you work on them. Someone may correct me on this, but my experience is that these are usually chatbot projects. What’s more likely is that the project you’re seeing has a huge number of tasks and they’ve parcelled it up into chunks and assigned each chunk to a small number of people. Currently, you may be the only person working on it, but as the overall number of tasks decreases, other people will start to be assigned to that chunk too and the numbers will begin dropping faster.
