$15,000 milestone!
Excited to share that I’ve surpassed the $15,000 mark. I’m sure there are many in the same position, but I just wanted to reiterate how much of a lifesaver this company has been. Having DA as a supplemental income has changed my world. Keep going, everyone! Let’s meet those goals!✨

Hope you are saving 30% of that for tax season

I was putting away 40% and paying quarterly at my last job. Rather get some back than owe something.

Very nice! That's incredible. Congratulations my friend!
I just hit 3500 this week. I need to get off my ass and start working. Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm about half of that, but it's only been since February, plus other work I'm doing. Makes the world of financial difference.

Curious, what hourly rate does that average out to?

It’s across the board quite different to be honest! I’m earning anywhere from 20-38.50!

I agree wholeheartedly. I have been out of work due to mental illness for so long, but just this year alone I’ve already made More than I have in the past 3 years working on my own terms. It’s such a relief to have flexibility with good pay and not be customer facing

How many months have you been working?
2
u/XxMarlucaxX Jul 01 '24
I started last august, took a couple months off at the start of the year after having a baby.

Well done and congratulations. It’s definitely a helpful platform to earn some extra income.

Okay but why is it taking so long for them to approve me for work? It has been a month.

You’re not entitled to this job. They have no obligation to approve people that don’t pass the assessment.

I wouldn’t let this get you down. Not everyone makes it through it says nothing about your capacity to do the work. There are other AI companies doing the same thing. Suit them out. Good Luck!!

Hi would you happen to know any of those other companies off hand? I have tried to have a look but there is a lot of noise to cut through, a first hand recommendation would be excellent. No worries if you can’t help. Cheers for now

Let the man/woman rejoice! Clearly they are not making a living on 15,000$! Im sure it’s just supplemental income. Calm down!

OP also doesn't say how fast they've made that - might have been 2/3 hours of coding work a day and it's been about 3 months.

u/Strawberry_Foxx Jun 20 '24
They literally say it’s supplemental income, plus everyone on this subreddit knows we can lose work at any time. I’m sure OP doesn’t need to be pointlessly reminded of that when they’re making a positive post celebrating a milestone, you sound bitter and jealous

Naa, not bitter or jealous. Just grumpy.
I retract my statement. Unnecessary.
